2 Some always have. Most used to not be able to pass the physical tests, psych evals and drug tests. Based on the folks that I have seen in uniform, those barriers have been bulldozed away.

3 Gotta bear in mind, the original "Hell's Angels" motorcycle group was mostly guys that came back from the Eighth Air Force after WWII and just couldn't go back to regular life.
So this thread is fairly strong and has been going for a while.

4 When we lived south of DC 20 years ago, we happened past a gathering of Rolling Thunder bikes Wiki and they were featured on the news, hundreds strong coming up I-95 with a police escort, IIRC.
