5 There have been attempts in years past to extend the MARTA line to outlying communities like Gwinnett, Peachtree City, and others. For obvious reasons, the attempts at route expansion of MARTA have failed.

7 MARTA had bus stops at the Duluth Mall when we lived 1/2 mile closer to downtown, and when we later lived off Sugarloaf Pkwy. I known because on 2 ocassions 1 leaving movie house and 1 at Golden C. Buffet I had display a means self protection to have us left alone.

Q: Have the Gwinnett Commisioners wised up ?

8 What you saw is Ride Gwinnett, it links to MARTA hubs, MARTA isn’t in Gwinnett or Cob but both counties now have buses that go to MARTA hubs

We were in Duluth (Pre Wally World days), Swanee, Lawrenceville between 1994 to 2012.
Moving based on Crime rates as needed.

Whether it was a interconnection or MARTA direct connect.
The same $%^&* ended up at the Mall and brought the Atlanta Virus problems with it.

BTW: My IT SEC team was the group that dug up part of the data that help ousted a certain Gwin commissioner K. in 2011'ish.... So I was there.

12 Voters reject public transportation expansion in two metro Atlanta counties

MARTA was rejected again last year. Don't get me wrong, I believe it’s needed. I can’t stand going to see my aunts in Lawrenceville due to the traffic even with the Peach Pass.

I’m in DeKalb now (don’t pronounce the “L”) Brookhaven, I can walk downtown and have beer and with food I devour weekly on Buford Hwy, I’ll never again be OTP.

To transfer from MARTA to there on Ride Gwinnett, is unbelievably difficult. As I said, I grew up in Gwinnett, I can no longer read the signs in that county, but MARTA ain’t the problem

18 Sorry for a double post. My grandfather had the jail. was B.C.(Benjamin Clay) he had a brother, Cuthbert, that had twins, he always told me if I hadn’t lost my toe hold I’d had triplets
