1 Without armor grade steel shipped in 1941-2 to make up for the loss of your industrial base not to mention the tonnage of other critical supplies, its unlikely you'd be writing this today.

2 Since the Russians and the Red Chinese had things totally under control we shouldn't have bothered opening a second front in Europe. That would have saved a lot of American and Allied lives. Although I recall reading that the great democrat Josef Vissarionovich was rather insistent on the western Allies opening a second front at the time.

3 I wouldn't say the Chinese won. The communist bastards who rule them won but the people lost big time. And without Americans fighting the Japanese in the Pacific it's doubtful that Mao would have survived that war. The same with Russia. Stalin, Khrushchev and Zhukov won because Americans were fighting Hitler in the West. The Russian people died by the millions. When you're stuck between Hitler and Stalin, you're in a very bad place.

5 The USSR and China survived WWII, they didn't win except relative to Germany and Japan.
