Many a Southern, has kept a record of the 100's of Yankee Civil War lies.

eg
The Yanks marching thru GA freed many slaves, only to be their slaves. Then as the Yanks proceed South, they dumped the slaves for fresh persons. The Yank Troops raped many many women (both Colors, and all ages (kids to granny).

In one case the Yanks blew the bridge behind themselves to keep the freed already overworked slaves from following them. Many of slaves being NON-swimmers, drowned.

The Yanks left the civilian population to stave by stealing all food items along the way.

The Yanks conducted mass executions w/o trial.

ALL WHILE
They had there own STILL slaves holding/allowing states.
Which is why many older southerners still see the war as the North terrorist action to Control, tax and collect revenues it generated.
