While the Middle East is heating up yet again, and the major terrorist promoting nation of Iran, days "look to be" numbered.

I sure hope our US DOD is still keeping enough here, to still guard the CONUS.

3 No country has the ability to get close enough to attack CONUS with conventional weapons without us knowing.

Any attack resulting from us attacking Iran will be unconventional and likely limited in nature so that it will be a law enforcement responsibility to react and handle.

The various intelligence and law enforcement agencies do a much better job of protecting the US then they get credit for.

The attack on 9/11 proved "unconventional" weapons are another matter. The jury is still out on COVID and the asymmetry of illegal immigration.

If I were me, I'd do it using missiles with EMP warheads launched from standard shipping containers on a cargo ship. You can do a similar thing with drone swarms and conventional munitions, as the Ukrainians have demonstrated.

Russian ‘dark fleet’ tanker believed to be delivering oil to Cuba, detected off US coast amid Trump ban

A tanker allegedly carrying Russian fuel en route to Cuba is using deceptive "dark fleet" tactics, including signal manipulation and offshore ship-to-ship transfers, according to maritime intelligence firm Windward.

According to MarineTraffic, the vessel, called Sea Horse, was located Tuesday on the U.S. East Coast with its signal, noted as "roaming."

No relation to the famed Trojan Horse, I'm sure.
