6 Humans do much better when they have purpose and meaning in their lives. Work is necessary for us — and we see what too many on government assistance become.

So if Mr, Musk is correct that the kinds of work we’re accustomed to will disappear, he’ll want to turn his clever brain to thinking about viable alternatives that fulfill the same need.
