[Just The News] New emails released by Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley provide further evidence that federal law enforcement and the Justice Department often had a wash, rinse and repeat mindset when it came to investigating President Donald Trump and his political allies.
One of those emails, which Grassley released during a committee hearing with FBI Director Kash Patel, shows that one agent sought to open a criminal investigation into tech titan Elon Musk while he led efficiency efforts in the Trump administration last year as a special government employee.
According to the agent’s theory, Musk’s effort to get government employees to share their weekly accomplishments in an email "encouraged, abetted, aided, etc. thousands if not tens of thousands of government employees to violate government wide security policy and transmit sensitive government information."
"And no, I’m not kidding," the now-former FBI agent Kevin Gounaud wrote in the February 2025 email.
Grassley said the new emails he released Tuesday are part of a decade-long pattern of law enforcement and intelligence officials pursuing Trump and his closest allies.
"For almost a decade now, I’ve made records public showing how a number of now discredited law enforcement and intelligence officials schemed to take out Trump and other Republicans," the Iowa Republican said in his opening statement. "And here we are, in 2026, still finding records from years ago showing even more evidence of targeting."
It it is clear there is growing mountain of factual evidence to the claims that certain DOJ, Federal LEO's, LSD's, NGO's, Media Groups all used their positions to engage in, or support Subversion & Treasonous activities.
It is clear it was done to assist or support those in the Biden Coup, in creating a false criminal narratives against Trump, DOGE and MAGA.
These people and groups need to be put on a Public Black List and banned from any future Fed Gov interactions and/or Taxpayer funded positions.

Hanging a few (dozen) of them would also discourage such behaviors from others, both now and in the future. Failure to do so will only enbolden them.

Perhaps. The Trump administration has plenty of other cases in the pipeline for all their issues. In the meantime, my household here in Cincinnati has already received two mailings of forms to request mail-in ballots — but only those who officially live here. Trailing daughter #2, who moved out and cancelled her Ohio voter registration a decade ago, did not get one. Interestingly, a hand written postcard came to her at the house today from the Reform Jewish Religious Action Center, reminding her to make sure she is registered and votes in November — their mailing llist must date back to her time in Hebrew school, which she finished in 2008 or so; we finally stopped paying the membership fee about five years later, as I hadn’t had the energy to go to services for years at that point.
