Teens besieged a King Soopers on Peoria Street in Aurora on Sunday afternoon, causing property damage and stealing items, police said.
Social media video showed teens carrying stolen tables, throwing food items on the floor, and running around the aisles as shoppers attempted to complete their grocery runs.
Teens crowded every part of the store, with the main aisles being overwhelmed with children between the ages of 14 and 17, who screamed and laughed as they caused disruption.
'It was like a nightmare,' an anonymous employee told KDVR. 'Everybody was littering over here... It was like a lot of people. And I talked to security and they said yeah we are taking care of it. But obviously not.'
They would later flee in large groups to local businesses, including a Burger King down the street, where they stood on tables, jumped around, and appeared to sing a song, a social media video showed.
'While some simply ran through the businesses, others vandalized property and stole merchandise,' the Aurora Police Department said.
The Aurora Police Department dispatched around 70 officers to the scenes to regain order in the city, which took several hours, it said.

Now if they banned smart phones from teenagers like they ban guns, a lot of this could be reduced. Alternately, like the shut off button on gas stations, the management could have a very localized phone jammer to activate in case of similar events.

[BB] A California man with a history of lewd behavior towards women was arrested once again after police received another report of a suspicious individual in a Glendale, California, business on Friday. Police officers arrested 39-year-old Calese Carron Crowder after two separate businesses reported suspicious activity.
Police officers responded to the area at around 3:30 p.m. on Friday. According to a report by mynewsla.com, a witness saw the man “hunkered down” and approaching people to smell them. Police were also dispatched to a nearby clothing store near South Brand Boulevard and East Broadway regarding a similar report. At that location, police reviewed surveillance video and identified Crowder as the suspect in the incident after it showed him allegedly engaged in similar offensive “sniffing” behavior.
As reported by Breitbart Texas, Crowder’s history of arrests for lewd activity is well known among surrounding Los Angeles area municipalities. In July 2025, Crowder was arrested after police received similar reports of a man loitering at a department store in Burbank, California.
On that occasion, according to a Burbank Police Department press release, officers responded to the report of a suspicious individual in the Nordstrom Rack department store at 1601 North Victory Place. Upon arrival, they were informed by store employees that the man had left. Police began searching the surrounding businesses in hopes of locating the man.
During a search of a nearby Walmart, Crowder was located as he moved around the various departments of the big-box retailer. Using the store’s surveillance system, officers monitored the suspect as he walked through the women’s department, where he was observed following a female customer.
According to the officers, Crowder was observed and captured on video as he crouched behind the female customer and inappropriately sniffed her buttocks. After observing the lewd behavior, officers approached Calese Crowder and detained him for further investigation.

I should probably send in the name of the CDL school I went to. What a joke. Literally, the first time I drove a tractor-trailer on a public road was on my CDL exam. Then they got me a job with a Ukrainian outfit out of Chicago, another disaster. I was completely new to the industry and did not know any better and should have gone to the tech-college just up the road.

[NYP] A maniac was shot dead by police in the heart of Times Square Monday after she stabbed two people, one fatally, and confronted cops while wildly waving two knives and threatening to kill them, the NYPD said.
The caught-on-camera mayhem erupted in the Crossroads of the World after Pamela Cisneros, 49, randomly knifed a man and a woman in a 20-second span near West 41st Street and Seventh Avenue just before 4:30 p.m., cops said.
Officers found Cisneros a block away behind an NYPD substation, waving two knives at them, according to sources and harrowing footage of the confrontation.
Two officers then opened fire, striking the Cisneros, who had a known history of mental illness with the department. She was pronounced dead at Bellevue Hospital.
The unprovoked stabbings and subsequent shooting all occured in roughly 20 minutes and sent panicked tourists and commuters scrambling for safety.

Read the book back in the '70's. Guy made a convincing arquement, hampered by the 'bluestone field', that made the eclipse progression calculation, having been plowed and tilled for maybe 1000 years in the meantime.
You have remember, this was all privately owned farmland since the 1066 survey. At one point, a landowner wanted to knock it all down to clear the area up. Too much work.

Japan's first ASEV missile defense ship just had its huge radar mast installed, providing a new sense of scale for these cruiser-sized warships.
The first of Japan’s two new cruiser-sized Aegis System Equipped Vessels (ASEV) is continuing to take shape, recently receiving its huge main integrated mast, giving the vessel a new and remarkably imposing silhouette. The four very large fixed arrays for the ship’s powerful AN/SPY-7(V)1 radar will eventually be integrated onto this structure. The ASEV’s stated primary mission is missile defense, but Japanese authorities plan to give the vessels additional counter-drone, anti-ship, and land attack capabilities in the future. Tomahawk cruise missiles are notably set to be added to the ship’s arsenal down the line.
The ASEVs are large surface combatants, set to be some 620 feet long, have a beam (the widest point of the hull) of some 82 feet, and a standard displacement of 12,000 tons. For comparison, Japan’s largest surface combatants today, its Maya class destroyers, are just over 557 feet long, have a beam of some 73 feet, and a standard displacement of around 8,200 tons. It is worth noting here that the size of new and advanced destroyers, often optimized for anti-air warfare missions, has been trending upward globally in recent years. This, in turn, has caused the line between destroyers and what have more historically been categorized as cruisers in certain cases.
The first ASEV was laid down at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries’ (MHI) shipyard in Nagasaki in July 2025. The second was laid down in February of this year at Japan Marine United Isogo shipyard, which is situated in Yokohama City near Tokyo, according to a past report from Naval News. The Japanese Ministry of Defense is currently aiming to have the first of these vessels in service before the end of the country’s 2027 Fiscal Year, which runs from April 2027 to March 2028. The second is expected to follow in the 2028 fiscal cycle, which extends into 2029.
