As a Sikh, Digwa was permitted to carry a ceremonial kirpan knife. Perhaps this wasn’t butch enough however, so he decided to complete his arsenal with an 8-inch blade or ’shastar’ (a Punjabi word for weapon or knife), just to be on the safe side. The trial at Southampton Crown Court has heard how Digwa "aggressively pursued" his victim, inflicted the fatal wounds, and stood over him as he bled. In Snapchat footage recorded moments before the attack, Nowak taunted Digwa to say he was a bad man. Digwa replied: "I am a bad man." He did not call for help.
Here’s the problem for Nowak: he was white, his assailant was not. Which means Digwa was perfectly within his rights to play the race card, and did so to maximum effect.

The Humanitarian Research Lab at the Yale School of Public Health reported, in an analysis based on satellite imagery and open-source material, that it identified a drone at Nyala Airport in South Darfur, an airport controlled by the UAE-backed Rapid Support Militia (Janjaweed). The drone is highly consistent with a Chinese-made BZK-005E.
According to the report’s key findings, the lab identified an unmanned aerial vehicle with a wingspan of approximately 19 metres at Nyala Airport on 6 May 2026. The lab assessed, with high confidence, that the aircraft is consistent with a variant of the BZK-005 family, most likely the BZK-005E, an export model.
The assessment is based on visible and comparable technical characteristics, including the aircraft’s wingspan, rounded nose, straight tapered wings, and twin-boom tail configuration. The measurements cited in the analysis show a wingspan of around 18.8 to 19 metres, a body length of roughly 10 metres from nose to tail, and a horizontal stabiliser of approximately 4.5 metres.
The lab compared the object seen at Nyala Airport with open-source images of BZK-005E drones, including footage reportedly showing aircraft of the same type in Mauritania. The comparison found clear similarities in the overall configuration, especially the twin-boom tail, rounded nose, and wing shape, all of which are consistent with the BZK-005E.
The report said the Yale lab reviewed its assessment with external experts, including Janes, the defence intelligence organisation. Janes agreed with the lab’s assessment that the aircraft belongs to the BZK-005 family and assessed the specific UAV as the “E” variant. Janes reportedly published its own report on the case on 23 May 2026.
The BZK-005 is a medium-altitude, long-endurance surveillance drone capable of electronic intelligence missions. Its reported payload capacity ranges between 150 and 370 kilograms, depending on the variant. According to the Yale report, variants of the BZK-005 family have also been used in airstrikes and combined-arms operations.
The BZK-005 was designed by the UAV institute of Beihang University and is produced by Harbin Aircraft Industry Group. The BZK-005E export model was later distributed by China North Industries Corporation, known as Norinco, one of China’s major defence manufacturers.
The UAE dimension appears clearly in the report through its reference to Norinco displaying the BZK-005E under the name of the Emirati defence distributor International Golden Group, a company under the UAE’s EDGE Group. The aircraft was reportedly displayed at the UMAX unmanned systems exhibition in Abu Dhabi in 2022 and 2024. The report also noted that EDGE Group and its subsidiaries, including International Golden Group, have joint ventures with China’s military-industrial complex, including Norinco.
These findings come within a wider series of reports on advanced weapons appearing in areas controlled by the UAE-backed Rapid Support Militia (Janjaweed). According to the Yale lab, EDGE Group and International Golden Group have been linked to several transfers of advanced weapons to the militia, including ammunition and light and heavy artillery.

A surge in gang-related shootings and bombings over the last decade, dozens of which were carried out by minors, has set Sweden apart from its European peers and left authorities an urgent problem: what to do with children who kill.
The government, in power since 2022 and heading into a tight election in September where crime is a key issue, says the softly-softly approach of the past has failed and it's time to get tough by sending children aged under 15 to prison rather than into social care.
However, some experts and lawmakers warn this is the wrong approach.
Sweden is fighting a wave of gang crime, with networks active in drug dealing, large-scale fraud and robbery that earn them around 185 billion Swedish crowns ($20 billion) a year.
Police estimate there are 17,500 active gang members and 50,000 associates. Gangs use social media to recruit teenagers, and in some cases children as young as 11, to commit murders and bombings across the Nordics.
UNDER-15S FACED MURDER OR ATTEMPTED MURDER CHARGES
Under a proposed new law, the age of criminal responsibility will be lowered to 13 from 15 — below that of most European countries — and minors convicted of the most serious crimes will be locked up in special prisons. One will take girls.
"We have an emergency," Justice Minister Gunnar Strommer said in April.
"Last year, 52 children under the age of 15 were involved in legal trials suspected of murder or attempted murder. So we're not talking about theft, not even assault or robbery. We're talking about murder."

There are some who trying to negotiate with and make "deals" with are just a huge waste of time! There seems to be only one way to get the point across to them. Trump's patience has got to be wearing thin.
