The DCSO response to the active break-in attempts by hundreds of protesters was appropriate and proportionate to the behaviors observed. With the assistance of our partner agencies, we were able to maintain order without anyone being seriously injured. We care about the welfare of all animals in our Dane County community. Resorting to crime, chaos, and violence is not the solution.”

Activists hope their protest on Saturday brings more attention to the issue, per the Fox article.
“Ridglan Farms breeds beagles for scientific experiments. The owners recently agreed to give up their breeding license by July 1 as part of an agreement to avoid animal cruelty charges,” the outlet said.
Approximately 1,000 activists gathered at the facility in Blue Mounds early Saturday and law enforcement warned them that anyone crossing onto private property would be arrested, Fox News reported Sunday.
Officials said hundreds of protesters tried to break barriers while some in the group blocked roadways to slow the response of law enforcement and emergency crews attempting to get to the scene.

I’d rather things be tested on animals than go straight from bench testing to humans. Because if we don’t check to see if it blinds dogs, we’ll discover the hard way that it blinds people.
And if the animals aren’t as close as possible to clones. there will always be the question whether the results are wonky because of variation in the animals or because the thing being tested isn’t consistent. Which will mean that a great many more animals would have to be used in the test to generate a sufficient size study to give useable statistics.

But Elkins also hinted at mental-health struggles in another recent Facebook post, where he called for God to “guard” his mind.
“Dear God, Today I ask You to help me guard my mind and my emotions,” read the post dated April 9.
“When negativity arises, remind me to say, ‘It does not belong to me, in the name of Jesus,’ ” he said.
“When depression tries to settle in, when anger rises, when anxiety or panic comes, give me the awareness to recognize what is not from You and the strength to reject it immediately in the name of JESUS.”
The mass murderer’s wife previously shared a picture of Elkins in a US Army uniform in 2016, as she awaited his return from active service.
Seven children were killed inside the second house, and one was found dead on the roof after apparently trying to escape, Bordelon said. Another child jumped off the roof and was expected to survive after being taken to a hospital.
State Rep. Tammy Phelps said some children tried to get away through the back door.
The victims were three boys and five girls, according to the Caddo Parish Coroner’s office.
Shamar Elkins and his wife were in the middle of separating and were due in court Monday, said Crystal Brown, who is a cousin of one of the wounded women. Brown said the couple had been arguing about the separation before the shooting.
“He murdered his children,” Brown said. “He shot his wife.”
Elkins shared four children with his wife and three children with another woman who lived close by and who was also shot, according to Brown. All the children were together at one house, she said.
Brown described all the children as “happy kids, very friendly, very sweet.”

Pope John Paul was the last true pope as far as I am concerned.
The fact he faced multiple Assassination attempts and plots to remove him. Was a strong indicator to me, he was a serious threat to the Socialist, Commies, and other Un-GODLY types.
