The Air Component of Operation Hadin Kai has neutralised over 50 suspected Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists following precision air strikes on their withdrawal routes after a failed attack on Ngoshe in Gwoza Local Government Area of Borno.
Sources told Zagazola Makama that the officer said the terrorists had, at about 7:30 p.m. on March 3, launched a coordinated assault on artillery positions in Ngoshe, a community located about 12 kilometres from Pulka and 31 kilometres from Gwoza town.
“The insurgents attempted to overrun the artillery positions in a surprise evening attack. Troops on ground responded effectively but conducted a tactical withdrawal under intense fire to preserve personnel and equipment while reinforcements were being mobilised,” he said.
The sources explained that the insurgents had adopted a hit-and-withdraw tactic, abandoning the scene before reinforcement troops fully secured the area.
The sources added that additional troops were immediately deployed, while surveillance platforms tracked the fleeing terrorists along identified withdrawal corridors.
“Upon receipt of real-time intelligence from ground troops, the surveillance aircraft were scrambled to engage the terrorists on their egress routes. The terrorists were sighted moving in clusters in both locations.

[TheRegister] Multiple Iranian hacking crews have been targeting internet-connected surveillance cameras across Israel and other Middle Eastern countries since the war started on February 28, according to Check Point security researchers.
The Tel Aviv-based security shop has tracked "hundreds" of attempts to exploit a handful of bugs in IP cameras made by two manufacturers, Hikvision and Dahua, according to Sergey Shykevich, threat intelligence group manager at Check Point Research, in a conversation with El Reg.
The countries targeted in these digital intrusion attempts - Israel, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, the UAE, Cyprus, and Lebanon - are the same ones that have seen significant missile activity linked to Iran.
Iran traditionally uses digital reconnaissance - including compromised cameras - to prepare for physical attacks. As recently as June 2025, threat groups linked to Iran's Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS) compromised servers containing live CCTV streams from Jerusalem, allowing the crew to surveil the city for potential targets, just days before launching missile attacks against Jerusalem.

The airbase commander said he had participated in a wave of strikes on a massive Iranian military compound in eastern Tehran.

More than 100 fighter jets carried out the airstrikes against the compound in eastern Tehran, dropping more than 250 bombs, the IDF said.
At the complex, the IDF said, it hit the headquarters of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, the IRGC Quds Force, intelligence directorate, Basij paramilitary force, Iran’s cyber unit, the special forces unit of Iran’s internal security forces, and a "protest suppression" unit of the internal security forces.
"The headquarters were struck while personnel of the Iranian terror regime responsible for managing the campaign, advancing terror plans against the State of Israel and countries in the region, and suppressing Iranian civilians were operating from them," the military said.
Additionally, an armed Iranian ballistic missile launcher in the Kermanshah area in western Iran was destroyed by an Israeli F-35I fighter jet, the military said.
"The Israeli Air Force continues to strike missile launch sites and missile launchers in order to remove the threat posed to the State of Israel," the military added.
An "extensive" wave of Israeli airstrikes in central and western Iran destroyed dozens of Iranian ballistic missile launchers and air defense systems. Not buying the "reporting" IF wikipedia is correct, the AN/FPS - 132 is only based in 5 places, 3 in the US, 1 in Canada, 1 in Great Britain. They are meant to track ICBM's from China or Russia coming over the polar regions.
