[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] An illegal migrant accused of stalking a woman off a bus and stabbing her to death has a shocking criminal history, with 30 arrests over the past two years alone.
Abdul Jalloh, 32, was arrested and charged with the killing of 41-year-old Stephanie Minter, who was found dead from stab wounds to her upper body at a bus stop shelter in Fairfax County, Virginia, on Monday night.
Court documents revealed that the suspect has a long rap sheet with more than two dozen arrests, including several for malicious wounding.
Some of those serious charges, however, were repeatedly dropped by judges before he allegedly escalated to cold-blooded murder in rural Hybla Valley this week.
In a statement shared to X, Virginia's former republican Attorney General Jason Miyares wrote: '30 prior arrests and 5 prior felony malicious wounding charges since 2023 alone.'
'Once again the innocent suffer when 'catch and release' policies by leftwing prosecutors get in charge,' Miyares added.
'This is 100% on Steve Descano, and why he's so despised by the Fairfax County Police Department.'
The case has ignited a political firestorm in Northern Virginia, with critics demanding to know why a man with such a lengthy and violent record was back on the streets.
The Fairfax County Commonwealth's Attorney's Office, led by Descano, acknowledged that Jalloh was well known to law enforcement prior to Monday's attack.
In a statement, the office said Jalloh had previously been convicted and served jail time for a 2023 malicious wounding charge.
'Unfortunately, the defendant in this case also had a history of selecting victims with no fixed address – some of the most vulnerable members of our community. In multiple cases, we were unable to move forward with prosecution because victims could not be located or contacted,' the office said in part.
Former Virginia prosecutor John Fishwick told DC News Now the situation underscores the difficulty of prosecuting violent offenders when victims cannot be found or decline to cooperate.
'It's very frustrating for law enforcement and to the prosecutors. They've probably got a very strong case but they need the victim to say what happened.
'I'm sure law enforcement tried a lot of different things, but it's a legitimate question of what efforts were made to bring these people to court. Clearly, This person should not have been on the streets,' Fishwick said.
Police say officers responded on Monday evening to a bus stop along Richmond Highway in Hybla Valley, where they found Minter suffering from multiple stab wounds.
Investigators allege Jalloh got off the bus with her before launching the fatal attack.

At least 20 people have been killed and others injured after a Bolivian air force cargo plane crashed in the western city of El Alto, the country's authorities say.
The defence ministry later confirmed its C-130 Hercules was involved and that it had been transporting banknotes to the Central Bank of Bolivia. There were eight people aboard the plane, the air force commander said.
"I want to make it clear to those who are trying to take money from the plane involved in this tragedy that this money has no legal value since it has not been issued by the Central Bank and does not have a serial number, and that attempting to use this money is a crime," the Minister of Defence, Marcelo Salinas, said.
[Breitbart] China’s rubber-stamp legislature, the National People’s Congress, abruptly dismissed 19 of its deputies Thursday afternoon without explanation, including nine military officers. The move came after dictator Xi Jinping purged a series of high-ranking People’s Liberation Army (PLA) leaders, and only a week before the annual meeting of the Chinese legislature in Beijing.
Thursday’s removals were announced by the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress (NPC), China’s top legislative authority. Among the deputies dismissed were Li Qiaoming, commander of PLA Ground Forces, and former People’s Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) commander Shen Jinlong.
The military deputies included five full generals, three major generals, and a lieutenant general – namely Wang Donghai, political commissar of the National Defense Mobilization Department.
Next week will see the “Two Sessions” held every year in Beijing – meetings of the NPC and the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, an advisory body that has even less actual authority than the NPC does.
Even though the NPC exists only to put a ceremonial stamp of approval on whatever Xi wants to do, the Two Sessions are considered a major event on China’s political calendar, with thousands of delegates flocking to Beijing to attend.
Xi made the surprising decision to purge his top general, Central Military Commission (CMC) vice chair Zhang Youxia, in late January. Zhang was second only to Xi himself in the chain of command, was a personal friend of Xi’s family, and was one of the few high-ranking Chinese officers to have practical combat experience.
The International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) in London published a report on Tuesday that found Xi’s aggressive purges of military officers have significantly compromised the readiness of the PLA. Xi has insisted the purges are necessary to root out corruption.

What??? Of course Xi is a dictator. China is ruled by the totalitarian Chinese Communist Party (Maoist), with Chairman Xi as their top totalitarian. Like all totalitarian systems, there is push and pull behind the scenes until a tipping point is reached, at which point the purges begin.

The Chinese aren't Maoists any more. The last Maoists were Shining Path in Peru and they got crushed a few years back. There are some Maoists left in India I think. Naxalites?
Maoism is communism but instead of using educated urban industrial workers like Saint Marx said it's using illiterate rural peasants.
There are all sorts of commies. They have intra-commie purges and wars all the time. That's what the Cultural Revolution was: Mao's famous slogan that started the whole thing was "bombard the headquarters!" Since the headquarters was the army Mao recruited teenage Red Guards to fight them. Whole cities were wrecked in urban fighting like Stalingrad.
China invaded Vietnam because they were the wrong kind of commie. Vietnam overthrew Khmer Rouge Cambodia because they were the wrong kind of commie.
China and the USSR nearly got into a big shooting war over some islands in a river. The river shifted its course and both sides claimed the land that appeared.

I can accept that they aren’t proper Maoists anymore — though Neville Roy Singham who is underwriting the current Black Bloc protests is, successful capitalist though he was in his own life — but they are still totalitarians.
They’re still sealing residents into their apartment buildings to control disease from spreading, and there’s all that social credit nonsense that means if you aren’t compliant enough you can lose not just jobs and access to education but bank and bus access as well. It’s not as visible as the arrests during the Cultural Revolution, but it’s even more dangerous to anyone who dares express an independent thought.

MASSIVE DOWNSIZING OF FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IN 2025 CONFIRMED
Over 317,000 federal employees left their government positions in 2025, according to a new report out of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM). The bulk of these workers accepted voluntary buyouts and early retirements. These offers were part of President Donald Trump's initiative to downsize the government.
One of Trump's first actions when taking back the Oval Office in January was to reduce the size of the government through the newly created U.S. Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). The president appointed billionaire Elon Musk to head up DOGE and its initiatives. The formal goal of DOGE was to eliminate what the Trump administration called "waste, bloat, and insularity" in the federal bureaucracy.
While DOGE is no longer an official government agency, its launch earlier in the year spearheaded the massive reduction in the size of the government through large-scale layoffs and voluntary exits. Although not all of the numbers were confirmed, most estimates detail that tens of thousands of employees were fired. The White House and OPM did not provide firm data on how many jobs were impacted when DOGE was making the cuts.

Those are direct federal employees, a huge success but hardly enough. Remember all of the contractors who live on the federal program dole, and the millions of state and local employees whose jobs are funded by federal programs. Lots more work to do...

The first year was intended to be a good start, giving the management team time to figure out where to cut wholesale rather than retail. The next step will be to close sections, but closing entire departments, like the Department of Education will take congressional action.
