[EpochTimes] President Donald Trump filed the lawsuit in his personal capacity, alongside his two eldest sons.
President Donald Trump ...Oh, noze! Not him!... on Jan. 29 filed a lawsuit against the Internal Revenue Service (IRS ...the Internal Revenue Service; that office of the United States government that collects taxes and persecutes the regime's political enemies... ) and the Treasury Department over leaks of his confidential tax returns during his first term in office.
The lawsuit, filed in the U.S. District Court of Southern District of Florida, is seeking at least $10 billion in damages, alleging that the IRS and Treasury violated federal privacy laws.
Trump brought the lawsuit in his personal capacity. His two eldest sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, together with the Trump Organization LLC, are also listed as plaintiffs in the filing.
In a 27-page lawsuit, the plaintiffs allege that Charles "Chaz" Littlejohn, who worked at the IRS as a government contractor, illegally obtained access to their tax records between 2019 and 2020 and disclosed the information to at least two news outlets, the New York Times
...which still proudly claims Walter Duranty's Pulitzer prize... and ProPublica.
The suit accused the IRS and Treasury of failing to take mandatory precautions to prevent the breach, citing their role in overseeing employees’ access to and removal of tax records.
It stated that Littlejohn had "staff-like access" to tax returns and confidential tax return information, and that the defendants had the authority to control the detailed physical performance of his work.
According to the filing, Littlejohn admitted to disclosing Trump’s tax records that included all his business holdings to ProPublica, which subsequently falsely reported that the plaintiffs’ leaked confidential tax returns contained "versions of fraud."
"Defendants have caused plaintiffs reputational and financial harm, public embarrassment, unfairly tarnished their business reputations, portrayed them in a false light, and negatively affected President Trump, and the other plaintiffs’ public standing," the suit stated.
Littlejohn had been charged with one count of unauthorized disclosure of tax return information, pleaded guilty in October 2023, and was sentenced to five years in prison in January 2024.
The former IRS employee allegedly stole tax return information from an IRS database by using "broad search parameters designed to conceal the true purpose of his queries," according to a Justice Department statement published in 2024.
Prosecutors said that Littlejohn uploaded the data to a private website as a way to avoid IRS protocols, which the agency had put in place to detect and prevent large downloads from its devices or systems, and then saved the stolen tax returns to multiple personal storage devices, including an iPod, before disclosing them to the media.
Trump’s lawsuit stated that the security procedures of the IRS and Treasury were so inadequate that it took three years for the IRS to detect the breach of the plaintiffs’ tax records.

As long as he doesn’t donate the proceeds to an NGO. I expect that many NGOs will rediscover the term charity as the Somali corruption investigation spreads to other ethnicities and winds itself around the country.

[Townhall] Georgia State Senator Greg Dolezal has brought forward new information that exposes massive seemingly-fraudulent voter registrations in the state’s deep-blue Fulton County.
Georgia state-law requires that voters register using their primary residence rather than a P.O. box or any other type of address. In Dolezal’s newly released video, he revealed numerous allegedly fraudulent registration locations across Fulton County according to the January voter rolls.
He discovered that 70 people were registered at a single UPS store, 19 people registered at an abandoned home, 138 people registered at a location run by virtual mailbox business Physical Address, 1900 people registered at a homeless shelter outside of the Georgia State Capitol, 70 people registered at a homeless shelter that closed nearly a decade ago, and 96 people registered at a second UPS store.
Dolezal also revealed that thousands of people were registered to vote with a birth year of 1800 or 1900. Jason Fraizer, who did much of the background research for Dolezal, claims that these birth years are used when an individual does not know their date of birth, and therefore cannot be verified as a legal resident. Frazier also stated that the voter rolls contain hundreds of duplicate registrations or multiple variations of the same name of a registered voter at a single address.
When speaking about the vast amount of seemingly fraudulent registrations, Dolezal laid the blame at the feet of Fulton County leadership.
"The Fulton County Registrar, this is their job," Dolezal said. "They are the ones that are supposed to keep the voter rolls clean. It’s always Fulton County, and Fulton County has got to get their act cleaned up."
Since Dolezal's unearthing of the issue, conservatives have issued mass requests for Fulton County to purge their voter rolls.

This homeless problem comes up periodically. It will eventually make it to the Supreme Court. My take:
-The homeless folks right to vote despite their lack of an address will be confirmed.
-An accommodation will be made to account for their lack of address.
- The P.O. Box rule will be confirmed. Homeless folks don’t use P.O. Boxes.
- The homeless will not be voting absentee. They have no home. You can’t send them a ballot. Any mailed ballot to a homeless person involves an intermediary or ballot harvester. That will not be allowed.
-The homeless voter issue will necessitate voter ID. NGOs will be delivering them to vote in vans. Without ID the homeless could be registered in multiple precincts snd canned around.

AFAIK there are no "At Large" Congressional Districts, State or local. If they are "homeless" what district should they vote in? What district should they be assigned to? They do have the right to vote but the mechanics seem chaotic and "vote by mail or with no ID" seems an obvious non starter.

That is a valid point. My feeling is that the Supreme Court would not disenfranchise the homeless. My limited experience with the homeless is that they are living somewhere routinely. I am OK with them voting. I understand that a Dem operative will be bringing them to the polling place and probably bribing them. I don’t see a reason why they should be sending them absentee applications that somebody else can exploit.

Insiders tell the Daily Mail that Corey Lewandowski, the bare-knuckle political brawler who wields unprecedented power within the Department of Homeland Security, may finally be on his way out after he allegedly coordinated a hit against Trump's most trusted lieutenant, Stephen Miller, insiders tell the Daily Mail.
It came as Kristi Noem, Lewandowski's boss and rumored lover, was facing backlash for claiming that an armed ICU nurse, Alex Pretti, fatally shot by immigration agents had intended to 'massacre' officers. White House officials later walked back these claims after it was revealed Pretti had his firearm removed when officers shot him.
Noem sought to shift responsibility onto Miller, telling reporters: 'Everything I've done, I've done at the direction of the President and Stephen.'
Within hours of her broadside, Miller issued his own statement blaming Border Patrol for the bad intel on Saturday's shooting – while privately seething over Noem's attempt to shift blame on him.
Multiple sources told the Daily Mail the effort was coordinated by Lewandowski as part of a broader attempt to shield Noem's career, and by extension his own. The comments backfired.
'That's just something you don't do,' one administration official told the Daily Mail. 'As a leader, if something comes out of your mouth, it doesn't matter if somebody told you to say it. You should have verified it. You never blame other people or throw them under the bus.'
'They are all trying to blame each other,' a Homeland Security official said.
But that source predicted Miller will come out on top because he's Trump's most trusted ally.
'It's not Noem, it's Miller,' the official said. 'Miller was there for the first administration. A lot of people call him Trump's hatchet man, and what he says, Trump will go by.'
A DHS official said he had spoken with aides close to Noem who claim Lewandowski, a 'special government employee' (SGE) who has served as her de-facto chief of staff, is about to be 'out the door.'
Lewandowski's status as an SGE allows him to avoid disclosing his private financial earnings while working in the government.
Another White House insider told the Mail that there are no immediate plans to fire Noem, but that she would be given a soft landing in coming months.
Speculation is that she would launch a bid in South Dakota's 2026 Senate primary, or do groundwork to run for president in 2028.
However, Lewandowski, who infamously served as Trump's campaign manager in 2016 before being ousted by the president's daughter Ivanka, has weathered repeated scandals while clinging to power. Washington insiders say they won't believe he's gone until they see him gone.
'Corey is like a cockroach; he just never goes away and always survives,' a GOP political operative close to the White House told the Daily Mail.
Trump defended Noem in a late-night post on Truth Social on Friday by suggesting she’s been targeted by critics 'because she is a woman, and has done a really GREAT JOB!'
Trump has responded to the immigration crisis in recent days by sidelining Noem and Lewandowski out of the Minneapolis crackdown.
The president installed her longtime rival, border czar Tom Homan.
Homan during a press conference on Thursday morning promised to implement a 'draw down' of immigration enforcement in Minneapolis if local officials cooperate.
It is notable that Noem's chief rival, Border Patrol Commissioner Rodney Scott, stood right behind Homan as he delivered his remarks, solidifying his power over immigration operations on the ground in Minneapolis.
Weeks prior it emerged Noem and Lewandowski attempted to push out the Border Patrol chief, but met resistance from the White House and officials aligned with Homan.
'Noem's always had something against Scott, but the only way she can retaliate is to shut down his requests,' the DHS official told the Daily Mail, alluding to a recent reports she rejected Scott's office renovation plan.
'Rodney and Homan grew up together in the agency,' the source added. 'They're going to stick up for each other. That's why Rodney was up there this (Thursday) morning behind Homan and not her.'
The rift between Homan and Noem widened last September after allegations emerged in the media that Homan had been recorded in 2024 accepting a bag with $50,000 in cash from undercover FBI agents posing as business executives in a sting tied to potential future government contracts.
News reports allege that the Department of Justice under Trump ultimately shut down the investigation once he took office.
Sources close to Homan tell the Daily Mail that it is believed Lewandowski orchestrated the bribery leak, elevating a feud that has torn DHS into two rival camps: Team Noem and Team Homan.
Likewise, Lewandowski has also publicly accused Homan of leaking to the media, prompting the White House to issue a rare condemnation.
This after the Daily Mail reported in December that Lewandowski had pressured ICE officials to provide him a badge and gun – going so far as to demand it while interviewing a potential ICE director candidate early last year.
Lewandowski responded to the expose by denying any wrongdoing and accused Homan of leaking the allegations.

The Daily Mail seems to have high quality sources on everything that goes on in America. You would think they would have better coverage of Iran where a government is mowing down its citizenry with crew served weapons. I consider Iran to be newsworthy. I would even classify it as more compelling news than possible affairs by a Trump cabinet member. I suspect that any news organization that covers international news but is not covering Iran is not a news organization at all.

My issue with Da Mail and journalists is the same as with Human Rights activists. There are two dead in Minnesota and 30k dead in Iran. Both activities are attempts at regime change. There will be no Pulitzers awarded for Iran coverage because there are no journalists there. Neither journalists nor Human Rights activists are what they say they are. Journalists are part of Intelligence Ops. Human Rights activists are communist revolutionaries.
