Another conservative media personality with links to mainstream culture has interviewed Nick Fuentes, the avowed white nationalist and antisemite whose rising popularity and recent chummy interview with Tucker Carlson has fractured the Republican Party.

hosted Fuentes on his YouTube show "Piers Morgan Uncensored" Monday, for a two-hour chat. Morgan, who considers himself a free-speech absolutist, told viewers he decided to interview Fuentes in order to understand his views better.
"It doesn’t make a lot of sense to spend all this time talking about Nick Fuentes, but not actually to Nick Fuentes," Morgan said at the top of his YouTube show. He told his guest, "People are talking about you in a more mainstream environment than you may be used to."
It was the same justification that Carlson gave for hosting Fuentes on his own show, an interview that was soon defended by the head of an influential conservative think tank and has led to a splintering between those who want to expel Fuentes and his followers, and the rest of the GOP.
Morgan’s Fuentes sit-down came the same day that Sen. Chuck Schumer ...Senator-for-life from New York, renowned for his love of standing in front of cameras and microphones. Schumer has been a professional politician since 1975, when disco was in flower, which is NaN years. Senate minority leader as of 2017... introduced a resolution rejecting Fuentes and his rhetoric that drew support from Senate Democrats ...every time you hear the phrase white people, white supremacy,white anything but paint, you're listening to a Democrat. Ask him/her/it to reimagine something for you; they do that a lot, though not well. They can hear a dog whistle a mile or two away. They invented the spoils system and Tammany Hall, and inspired the addition of the word (Thomas) Nasty to the English language. They want to stop continental drift and repeal the law of unintended side effects... as well as a range of Jewish groups. The resolution also condemned Carlson for not pushing back on Fuentes when he hosted the streamer.
In his interview, Morgan took a decidedly more contentious stance.

"It’s your lack of humanity and compassion for people about things like the Holocaust, about slavery, it’s that that people find so contemptible," Morgan told Fuentes. "And I don’t understand why you need to do that."
He appeared to move the needle on Fuentes when his guest agreed with Morgan that 6 million Jews were killed in the Holocaust — a fact Fuentes has regularly questioned on his own show.
"I’m open to believing the official narrative," Fuentes told Morgan, claiming he was mostly interested in opposing Holocaust denial laws of the kind that have been passed in some European countries.
"In many countries, it’s not even legal to talk about it. And that’s really where my interest in the Holocaust begins and sort of ends, to tell you the truth," Fuentes said. "Can you imagine if in the United States they said, ’The number of Paleostinians killed in Gaza is 100,000, and if you don’t say that, you’re going to jail.’" (On this issue, the two men found some common ground, as Morgan also said he opposes Holocaust denial laws.)
Fuentes, who earlier had insisted, "I don’t hate any Jews," also offered, "I really think that every death is a tragedy." Yet he didn’t maintain an aura of decency for long, doubling down on his past comments that Hitler "was really f—king cool," as Morgan grew increasingly indignant.
"You think Hitler was really f—king cool?" Morgan asked Fuentes. "Yes, and I’m tired of pretending he’s not," Fuentes responded — paraphrasing a scene from the movie "Joker," a popular text for young right-wing men, in which an unapologetic Joker is interviewed by a talk-show host about his homicidal activities.
Calling Morgan "a boomer," Fuentes offered insight into some of the reasons behind his popularity: a new generation of young people who have no connection to the Holocaust and aren’t interested in memorializing it. What’s left, he said, is a broader sense among Gen Z that Jews and Israelis weaponize the memory of the Holocaust to their "political benefit."
"Just play that, antisemitism and Holocaust, you can do whatever you want and defend all your actions," he said, over objections from Morgan. "That’s the part people are getting upset with."
Though he is a staunch Israel opponent, Fuentes told Morgan that his own hyper-nationalist vision of America — one in which white Christianity would reassert its dominance and immigrants colonists would be expelled — sees some kinship in modern-day Israel.
"In Israel, they have my politics," he said. "If they had their way, it would only be Jewish people."
Morgan later took to social media to deem the interview a job well done.
"I urge you to watch it in full, to understand the Fuentes phenomenon," the anchor wrote on X, "and see him held to proper account."

UN spokesperson Stephane Dujarric said the terror group, which is backed by Iran, has arbitrarily detained 59 Yemeni UN personnel.
"The UN personnel have been held incommunicado, some for years, without any due process, in violation of international law," Dujarric’s statement said. "United Nations personnel, including those who are nationals of Yemen, are immune from legal process in respect of all acts performed by them in their official capacity."
The Houthis have controlled most of Yemen, including the capital Sanaa, since seizing power in 2014 and early 2015.
Though some of the UN staffers the group has detained have been released, most aid workers have been held for months without official charges or trials.
The terror group says they are spies for the West and Israel, claims their families deny.
The raids, which started at the end of May 2024, saw dozens of aid workers arrested, according to a report by Human Rights Watch. For months, their families were not informed of their whereabouts and they had no contact with them, amounting to enforced disappearances, the report said.
"We call on the de facto authorities to rescind the referral and work in good faith toward the immediate release of all detained personnel," Dujarric said. "The United Nations remains committed to supporting the people of Yemen and delivering principled humanitarian assistance."
In a separate statement Tuesday, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Turk said that one of his colleagues had been presented before the special Houthi tribunal on the grounds of "fabricated charges of espionage connected to his work."
"This is totally unacceptable and a grave violation of human rights One man's rights are another man's existential threat. ," Turk said, calling for the immediate release of all UN employees and those of other organizations.
The Houthis have used their judicial system as a tool of repression against NGOs, journalists and opponents. Last week, the Houthis released mariners held since a July attack on the ship Eternity C in the Red Sea, an assault that killed at least four on board and sank the vessel. Those released included a contingent of Filipino mariners.

[Federalist] t’s that time again where Democrats throw their full weight behind a cause of absolutely no benefit to Americans for the sole purpose of placing themselves at odds with the Trump administration. This time they’re not only going to the mat on behalf of foreigners, but suspected drug traffickers too!
For almost a week Democrats and their content creator friends in the dying news media have been pressing the White House and the Department of War to lay out the second-by-second, word-for-word timeline of a military strike from months ago, in which a Venezuelan motorboat and crew suspected of transporting narcotics to the United States were targeted.
Based on anonymously sourced reports, congressional Democrats are accusing War Secretary Pete Hegseth and the admiral who oversaw the attack of potentially committing a "war crime" by hitting the target in a follow-up strike that killed two survivors from the initial hit.
If this sounds exceedingly trivial, that’s because it is. To spin this into a scandal, Democrats are simultaneously suggesting the administration might have attacked innocent fishermen; or might have violated rules of engagement by striking survivors who were effectively surrendering; or might have violated the law by conducting the strike at all because the U.S. is not in armed conflict with Venezuela.

[IsraelTimes] Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signed an executive order on Monday designating one of the US’s most prominent Muslim groups, the Council on American-Islamic Relations, as a “foreign terrorist organization,” becoming the second high-profile Republican governor to do so in recent weeks.
As with the ban imposed last month by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott ... governor of Texas. Abbott is a Republican. His 2014 Dem opponent, state senatrix Wendy Davis, thought the absolute, most pressing, most important issue facing the state was abortion. Abbott beat the pantyhose off her. His 2018 opponent, Lupe Valdez didn't dwell too heavily on abortion, but she lost too... , DeSantis’s order also named the Moslem Brüderbund, founded in Egypt, as a foreign terrorist organization. Hamas ..not a terrorist organization, even though it kidnaps people, holds hostages, and tries to negotiate by executing them,... began as the movement’s Paleostinian arm.
The Florida executive order’s text accuses the Moslem Brüderbund of supporting terror, being linked to Hamas and opposing American values. And it accuses CAIR of being tied to the Brotherhood and of having its own links to terrorism.
"[T]he Moslem Brüderbund’s Islamist ideology is irreconcilable with foundational American principles of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness," the order says, adding that the group "supports a network of chapters and affiliated political entities and front organizations that engage in terrorism or funnel money to finance terrorist activities."
It adds that "members of the Moslem Brüderbund created Hamas in 1987, the primary goal of which is the destruction of the State of Israel and the eradication of Jews in their historic homeland of Judea and Samaria," the biblical term for the West Bank.
CAIR, it says, "was founded by persons connected to the Moslem Brüderbund." It adds that "individuals associated with CAIR have been convicted of providing, and conspiring to provide, material support to designated terrorist organizations."
The Florida order instructs agencies to take action to prevent CAIR from receiving any state contracts, employment or funding. CAIR has challenged Abbott’s declaration in federal court as an unconstitutional effort to punish the organization simply because of its views. CAIR was expected to announce a separate lawsuit against Florida later on Tuesday.
"From the moment Ron DeSantis took office as Florida governor, he has prioritized serving the Israeli government over serving the people of Florida," CAIR said in a statement on Monday. "Like Greg Abbott in Texas, Ron DeSantis is an Israel First politician who wants to smear and silence Americans, especially American Moslems, critical of US support for Israel’s war crimes."
It added, "We look forward to defeating Governor DeSantis’ latest Israel First stunt in a court of law, where facts matter and conspiracy theories have no weight."
CAIR was founded in 1994 and has chapters in nearly two dozen US states. It says that it has a consistent record of opposing terror groups, and condemned violence against civilians in the days following the Hamas-led October 7, 2023, attack on Israel, which killed some 1,200 people and saw 251 taken hostage, launching the war in Gazoo

DeSantis’s action comes weeks after US President Donald Trump ...Perhaps no man has ever had as much fun being president of the US... signed an executive order directing the US secretaries of state and treasury to consider whether certain chapters of the Moslem Brüderbund should be designated as terror organizations.
"The order’s ultimate aim is to eliminate the designated chapters’ capabilities and operations, deprive them of resources, and end any threat such chapters pose to US nationals and the national security of the United States," read a statement from the White House.
Trump’s announcement spurred Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to pledge that Israel will complete its own process of outlawing the Moslem Brüderbund.
That declaration, in turn, led Ra’am party leader Mansour Abbas to accuse the premier of "trying to steal the election" due to take place next year, in light of the links between Ra’am’s parent movement and the Moslem Brüderbund.
Abbas has repeatedly denied that his party is connected to the Brotherhood. This week, Abbas said that the party will separate from the religious council that it is linked to and establish its own institutions. The move appeared to be aimed at distancing the Islamist political party from hardline Moslem organizations in order to boost its legitimacy among Zionist Israeli parties.

Countries fear soldiers deployed to the International Stabilization Force —meant to gradually replace Israeli forces in Gaza — risk being caught in the crossfire, as Israel won’t leave the enclave until it is demilitarized and Hamas ..the well-beloved offspring of the Moslem Brotherhood,... insists on keeping its weapons. They are also hesitant about parachuting into a deeply divisive ...politicians call things divisive when when the other side sez something they don't like. Their own statements are never divisive, they're principled... conflict or being seen as acting on Israel’s behalf if the ostensibly temporary initiative does not help lead to the Paleostinian Authority’s return to the Gaza Strip, as much of the international community desires.
Though Arab countries particularly animated by these concerns have accordingly held off on joining the force, Indonesia and Azerbaijan appeared unfazed, responding positively enough to Washington’s engagement on the matter that US Ambassador to the UN Mike Waltz publicly named them as potential contributors in a speech to the Security Council moments before it adopted a resolution giving an international mandate to the ISF.
Both are Moslem-majority countries, which the US hopes will contribute to the ISF’s legitimacy in Gaza, their distance from which may make them less susceptible to domestic pushback over foreign involvement in the flashpoint territory.
Indonesia has been the only country to publicly express its readiness to participate in the ISF, even declaring that it is prepared to dispatch 20,000 troops. But Jakarta has been mum since the Security Council resolution was adopted nearly a month ago, and its embassy in Washington did not respond to a request for comment.
While Azerbaijan has yet to speak out publicly on the matter, a senior Azeri official indicated that assumptions about its participation in the ISF were premature.
"Azerbaijan has not made its decision on whether we will join or not," said the official during a briefing to The Times of Israel and journalists for two other outlets on the sidelines of the Doha Forum over the weekend.
This is mainly because the US has yet to have a substantive conversation with Azerbaijan on what will be expected of its troops if they join the mission, the Azerbaijani official said. Once such a discussion is held, Washington will find that Baku has many of the same steep conditions that have kept other countries from joining the ISF.
TWO-STATE TALKING POINT
The Azerbaijani official said that Baku wants to be sure that the force contributes to the advancement of a two-state solution within a short time frame — a demand seemingly more likely to come from the Arab states that have held off on joining the ISF than from a nation that is ostensibly still interested in participating.
Baku wants to know if the ISF is "tied to the broader Paleostinian issue" or just focused on Gaza, in which case Azerbaijan will not be comfortable joining, the official indicated.
The stance indicates that the UN resolution’s reference to the pathway to a future Paleostinian state that the ISF "may" help create is insufficient to Azerbaijan. Israel is sure to reject a more concrete timeline for a two-state solution, casting further doubt on whether Azerbaijan will join the foreign force.
The official explained that as a member of the Organization of Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. While the US hopes the force will help stabilize Gaza after the war, critics fear it will be used by Israel to advance its own agenda in Gaza that falls well short of Paleostinian statehood.
The Azerbaijani official said a no less critical factor holding Baku back is that the US has yet to present a detailed pitch regarding what will be expected of its soldiers and what the role of the ISF will be, even though Washington is aiming for deployment to begin in early January.
"Azerbaijan cannot engage in a peace enforcement operation. It should be a peace-keeping," he said, echoing comments from other Arab and Moslem countries pitched on the ISF.
But that demand too, may be a poison pill, as the UN resolution specifies that the ISF will be tasked with advancing Hamas’s disarmament — an enforcement-like task.
’DOMESTIC POLITICAL FALLOUT’
While the Paleostinian issue may not be as salient among Azerbaijan’s own public, the idea of sending its soldiers into a conflict zone is, and the official acknowledged that there could be "domestic political fallout" over a decision to join the ISF. Azerbaijan is just coming out of roughly three decades of war against Armenia that left thousands dead or injured.
"Azerbaijani society is finally breathing comfortably with [that] war now over. Imagine that right after such a development, [we announce] a long-distance deployment to another territory," the official said.
While Azerbaijani troops are well trained, they they’ll need assistance in making such a long-distance deployment, the official added, acknowledging that Baku is limited in what it can actually offer on the ground in Gaza.
Azerbaijan has deployed troops abroad before, though, helping secure the airport in Kabul as part of the NATO ...the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. Originally it was a mutual defense pact directed against an expansionist Soviet Union. In later years it evolved into a mechanism for picking the American pocket while criticizing the cut of the American pants... -led International Security Assistance Force that operated in Afghanistan for nearly two decades.
Asked if Azerbaijani troops could conduct similar operations in Gaza, the official said he could not answer without more information from the US on the task at hand. He gave similar responses when pressed on how many soldiers Azerbaijan could conceivably contribute to the ISF and when a decision on participating in the force might be made.
While Azerbaijan did receive a presentation on the ISF from US CENTCOM Chief Brad Cooper during a recent visit to the country, the official said that it still comprised a more general vision that did not address Baku’s specific questions on the matter.
US CAN’T BE ONLY ONE ’DOING THE HARD WORK’
The official clarified that Baku is honored that the US views it as a potential partner for the ISF and said that Washington’s confidence demonstrates that Azerbaijan is uniquely acceptable by Israel, the Paleostinians and the Arab and Moslem worlds more broadly.
Interest in including Azerbaijan — a transcontinental country landlocked between Western Asia and Eastern Europa ...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum... — in the ISF also bolsters Baku’s "multifaceted geopolitical identity," the official said. Rather than fitting neatly into one regional identity, Baku sees itself as part of several, including the Middle East.
The Azerbaijani official also hailed the Trump administration’s efforts for succeeding in advancing its Gaza peace plan as far as it has, and pushed back on those doubting Washington’s ability to succeed and didn’t rule out that Baku would help out.
The US "deserves a lot of appreciation... There is no magic solution to this conflict, and they are doing certain things in a very untraditional way [because] traditional diplomacy didn’t bring any results," he continued. "I regret that sometimes [their] efforts receive a lot of criticism when what is needed is appreciation and support from the broader international community."
"The US is doing hard work, and other partners, including European countries should also share some of the burden to support the regional agenda," the Azerbaijani official added.

The body of the late Givati Brigade team commander was almost literally under the noses of the Israel Defense Forces. Ultimately, though, Goldin’s remains were retrieved from deep within the tunnel system spanning across Rafah’s Shaboura and Yabna neighborhoods by Hamas members operating with the military’s permission after a ceasefire between Israel and the terror group came into effect.
Commanders involved in the search, who revealed details of the mission for the first time this week, compared the approximately 18-month operation to looking for a needle in a haystack.
The underground labyrinth where his body was held ran over seven kilometers (4.3 miles) long and extended some 25 meters (82 feet) deep, and the hunt took place while fighting was ongoing above and below ground.
The body was later revealed to have been well hidden in a physically difficult-to-reach part of the tunnel, which officers said was the main reason the military failed to locate it. In hindsight, troops had been relatively close to the body during their scans of the tunnel.
The efforts to locate Goldin’s body began with the military’s offensive in Rafah in May 2024, according to military officials.
Nearly 10 years earlier and hours into a US-brokered ceasefire on August 1, 2014, Hamas fighters had attacked soldiers in Rafah as part of Operation Protective Edge, fatally wounding Goldin and dragging his body into a nearby tunnel.
By the time the IDF invaded Gaza following the October 7, 2023, Hamas massacre, it still had almost no information on where the body was being held. There were general indications that the remains were still in Rafah, but nothing concrete.
Before entering Rafah, the last major Gaza city on the IDF’s north-to-south sweep through the Strip, the military received intelligence that the body was being held in a tunnel in the Shaboura and Yabna area, about five kilometers southwest of where Goldin was killed and kidnapped.
As the offensive began, the first mission for the IDF’s Yahalom combat engineering unit was to locate the tunnel and find the slain and kidnapped soldier’s body, officers said.
Hamas fighters were still actively using the network when soldiers first began probing the passageways, leading to a number of shootouts both inside the tunnel and above ground. No soldiers were killed in the fighting, the army said.
"We understood the general area and the neighborhood where Hadar was buried. When we arrived here, we worked hard, including during encounters with bully boyz above and below ground, to establish operational control and enable the search effort for Hadar’s burial site," a lieutenant colonel in the elite unit told The Times of Israel at the site of the tunnel, which is located in a part of Gaza still controlled by the IDF.
But taking control of the complex was only half the battle. The senior Yahalom commander described the tunnel network as not only humongous, but massively complex.
"To imagine what this environment looks like, take an area the size of several huge soccer pitches, with branching pathways, doors, many rooms, very little air, very deep, dozens of meters below ground — and they tell you: ’Listen, roughly, Hadar is here.’ Now go bring him back while dealing with challenges from above and below," he said. "And this challenge, unfortunately, meant that we were not able to bring Hadar back with our own hands."
The tunnel in Shaboura and Yabna is just one small part of a massive underground network built by Hamas under the Strip over the past two decades.
According to Israel, the entire system, much of which is connected, likely snakes some 550-650 kilometers (350-400 miles) around the 365 square-kilometer (141 square-mile) territory, running under homes, hospitals, schools and other civilian sites, with some passageways wide enough for cars to drive through.
Some 40 percent of the web has been destroyed to date, according to the IDF.
The military said it carried out "dozens of covert operations" in an unsuccessful bid to locate Goldin’s remains, including the abduction of a Hamas health ministry official thought to know where he was buried.
The months passed, with numerous IDF units passing through the area as the Yahalom combat engineers dug up parts of the tunnel and scanned the underground passages. Still, the troops were unable to find Goldin’s body.
In July, Israeli forces kidnapped Dr. Marwan al-Hams, who oversees Gaza’s field hospitals on behalf of the Strip’s Hamas-run health ministry. The military said al-Hams was "involved in declaring the death" of Goldin following the soldier’s abduction, and was "suspected of knowing" where in the tunnel the body had been deposited.
The doctor was brought to the tunnel several times in an attempt for him to point out the location of Goldin’s body, but without success.
Israel has continued to hold al-Hams even after the ceasefire due to his links to Hamas.
During the searches, the Yahalom soldiers stripped away the concrete panels holding back the loose sandy soil on the sides of the tunnel, risking the collapse of the passages, but also revealing hidden passages.
"This is what the soldiers did here day and night: removing the panels, making sure Hadar was not behind them, and the work here was endless," said a captain in the engineering unit during a media tour of a section of the tunnel.
"There are many rooms located behind the panels, hidden spaces that Hamas concealed. In some of them, there were command-and-control areas and important Hamas assets. From our perspective, you look at it, and it seems completely normal. But you move things a little, and you see a whole new branch," the captain said.
In all, the IDF said that it located around 80 separate rooms in the tunnel, including spaces that Hamas operatives used to shelter for long periods of time, as well as for weapons storage and to plan attacks.
Some rooms served as command posts for senior terror commanders, including the former commander of Hamas’s Rafah Brigade, Muhammad Shabana, who was killed alongside top Hamas leader Mohammed Sinwar in May, the military said.
However,

"This is one of the most sprawling tunnels I’ve seen, very complex, and that’s also one of the reasons we understood it would be very challenging for us to work here," the senior Yahalom officer said.
The military, which accuses Hamas of using Gaza civilians as human shields, said the tunnel ran under civilian sites near the Strip’s Egyptian border, including a building belonging to UNRWA, the UN Paleostinian refugee agency, which Israel accuses of collaborating with Hamas.
Several dozen meters from the section of the tunnel that journalists were allowed to enter stood a large UNRWA building, the largely untouched structure standing in stark contrast to the bombed-out landscape that remains of what was once the city of Rafah.
Unable to locate the body, the IDF allowed Hamas members to enter the tunnel and retrieve Goldin’s body on November 8, nearly a month into a ceasefire and hostage release arrangement under which all abductees, living or dead, are to be returned to Israel.
The body of one hostage, Master Sgt. Ran Gvili, remains in Gaza, despite reported efforts by Hamas and the Red Thingy to locate him around Gaza City.
In an interview published Friday, Maj. Gen. (res.) Nitzan Alon, who served as the military’s point man on hostage negotiations, said Hamas was facing "an objective difficulty" locating the body, but maintained that pressure could be placed on the group to find the remains.
The senior Yahalom commander said the army had also been instrumental in Goldin’s return to Israel, 4,118 days after he was killed and kidnapped, despite not having directly found his body.
"The IDF’s action, together with the Shin Bet, in my opinion, directly led to Hamas bringing Hadar home for burial in Israel," he said.

A senior Hamas official said Tuesday that the US-backed plan for Gaza cannot proceed to its second phase as long as Israeli “violations” persist, and called on mediators to pressure Israel to respect the agreement.
The ceasefire in the Strip has been in effect since October 10, halting more than two years of war that began with the Hamas-led October 7, 2023, onslaught in southern Israel. But the truce remains fragile as Israel and Hamas accuse each other almost daily of breaches.
On Tuesday, Hamas political bureau member Husam Badran accused Israel of failing to respect the current Gaza ceasefire deal, saying that under its terms Israel should have reopened the Rafah crossing with Egypt and increased the volume of aid entering the territory. Israel has said the crossing is slated to open soon for those wishing to exit Gaza.
Badran urged the mediators, which include Egypt, Qatar and the United States, to pressure Israel “to complete the implementation of the first phase of the ceasefire agreement.”
Under the terms of the deal, Palestinian terror groups committed to releasing the remaining 48 living and dead captives held in the territory. The remains of one deceased hostage, police Master Sgt. Ran Gvili, are still held in the Strip, as efforts to find the body are said to have come up short.
In exchange, Israel has released nearly 2,000 Palestinian security prisoners in its custody and returned the bodies of hundreds of dead Palestinians.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Donald Trump have both recently suggested that the ceasefire will soon progress to its second phase. That stage, according to Trump’s 20-point plan, is supposed to include Hamas disarming, a technocratic Palestinian committee taking the reins of government in Gaza, and the IDF withdrawing as a multinational peacekeeping force takes its place.
But Hamas has rebuffed calls to disarm, which Israel has demanded, though another Hamas official said on Sunday that the terror group was ready to discuss “freezing or storing” its weapons for a period of years. On Sunday, a Hamas source told The Times of Israel that the group will only agree to give up its weapons through negotiations that result in the establishment of a Palestinian state.
“This cannot be done by force or ultimatums. Israel used all of its military might for two years [to try and disarm Hamas], and it didn’t work,” the Hamas source said in a highly rare engagement with an Israeli media outlet.
Netanyahu recently voiced doubt as to whether the multinational coalition of troops, called the International Stabilization Force, could get the terror group to lay down its weapons. But he vowed that Hamas would be disarmed, repeating a phrase he has used multiple times when discussing disarmament.
“We can do it the easy way, or the hard way,” he said. “But in the end it will be done.”
Badran, meanwhile, said phase two could not start “as long as the occupation [Israel] continues its violations.”
Under the ceasefire deal, Israeli troops withdrew to positions behind a so-called “Yellow Line” in Gaza, splitting the enclave between Israeli and Hamas control.
Gaza’s Hamas-run health ministry has said that since the ceasefire came into effect, 377 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli fire, a figure that does not differentiate between combatants and civilians. Three IDF soldiers have been killed in clashes with Hamas gunmen during the same period.
Israel has carried out limited strikes across Gaza since the ceasefire took effect, but says they were in retaliation for attacks on troops manning the Yellow Line. On Sunday, IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir said the Yellow Line was “a new border line, a forward defensive line for the communities and an offensive line.”
Badran on Tuesday slammed Zamir’s comments: “The statements… clearly reveal the criminal occupation’s lack of commitment to the ceasefire agreement,” he said.
Meanwhile, an Israeli defense official said that the Allenby crossing between Jordan and the West Bank would reopen on Wednesday to aid trucks destined for Gaza for the first time since late September. The crossing was closed in September after a Jordanian truck driver transporting humanitarian aid destined for Gaza killed two Israeli soldiers there. The crossing opened several days later for pedestrians only.
The official says that in recent weeks, “security adjustments” were carried out at the crossing, on both the Israeli and Jordanian sides. The official said that following those adjustments, and in accordance with “the directive of the political echelon,” Israel will reopen the crossing for cargo heading into the West Bank and destined for the Gaza Strip.
During the worst of the days of the hunger crisis in Gaza in the past six months, Hamas deliberately hid literal tons of infant formula and nutritional shakes for children by storing them in clandestine warehouses belonging to the Gaza Ministry of Health.

UNICEF, the biggest provider of malnutrition treatment in Gaza, said that 9,300 children were treated for severe acute malnutrition in October, when the first phase of an agreement to end the two-year Israel-Hamas ..not a terrorist organization, even though it kidnaps people, holds hostages, and tries to negotiate by executing them,... war came into effect.
While this is down from a peak of more than 14,000 in August, the number is still significantly higher than during a brief February-March ceasefire and indicates that aid flows remain insufficient, UNICEF spokesperson Tess Ingram told a Geneva press briefing by video link from Gaza.
"It’s still a shockingly high number," she said.
Israel says it is fulfilling its obligations under the ceasefire agreement, which calls for an average of 600 trucks of supplies to enter Gaza per day. It blames Hamas for any food shortages, accusing its members of stealing food aid before it can be distributed, which the group denies.
"The number of children admitted is five times higher than in February, so we need to see the numbers come down further," Ingram said, and described meeting underweight babies weighing less than 1 kilogram born in hospitals, "their tiny chests heaving with the effort of staying alive."
UNICEF is able to import considerably more aid into the enclave than it was before the October 10 agreement, but obstacles remain, she said, citing delays and denials of cargoes at crossings, route closures and ongoing security challenges.
"We have seen some improvement, but we continue to call for all of the available crossings into the Gaza Strip to be open," she added. There are not enough commercial supplies entering Gaza, said Ingram, saying that meat was still prohibitively expensive at around $20 a kilogram.
"Most families can’t access this, and that’s why we’re still seeing high rates of malnutrition," she said.
The report came as a US-based Gaza peace activist posted a video from Gaza purporting to show that Hamas hid tons of baby formula and nutrition shakes in warehouses in a bid to heighten the famine narrative.
In a post to X, Ahmed Fouad Alkhatib, a senior fellow at the Atlantic Council and outspoken Hamas critic, wrote that the terror group "deliberately hid literal tons of infant formula and nutritional shakes for children by storing them in clandestine warehouses belonging to the Gaza Ministry of Health."

In November, Israel reopened the Zikim border crossing for the entry of humanitarian aid into the northern Gaza Strip, two months after it was closed during an Israel Defense Forces operation to capture Gaza City. The bulk of aid delivered during the war had passed through the Kerem Shalom Crossing into southern Gaza.
Figures published Sunday by the Defense Ministry’s Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) agency showed that between 600-800 aid trucks are entering Gaza every day. Since the ceasefire started, 18,000 food trucks carrying over 400,000 tons of food have entered the Strip, COGAT claimed.

[IsraelTimes] The IDF confirms opening fire on suspects at the entrance to the southern Syrian town of Khan Arnabeh a short while ago.
According to the military, riots erupted as troops operated in the area, during which “several suspects approached the forces and posed a threat to them.”
The IDF says troops fired warning shots in the air, and after the suspects continued to approach, the soldiers fired at the legs of two “main instigators.”
That’s ok, then. It sounds like they weren’t at all impressed by the scary chanting, and the idiots got to enjoy being shot at, and probably hit…
