[NYPOST] SNAP recipients are taking to TikTok and threatening to loot grocery stores if their food stamp payments don't go through on Nov. 1 due to the government shutdown.
''I'ma tell y'all straight up like this, I just got that text that the link is definitely cut the f—k off for November. Y'all better stay the f—k out of my way in these stores because I'm walking out with carts and I'm not paying for s—t,'' one angry SNAP recipient fumed on TikTok.
Another added: ''You know what? Since they wanna take food stamps away, I'm gonna go to f—king Walmart, grab anything I damn want, put that s—t right in the basket and walk right up out that b—h — I'm not paying for a damn thing,'' said another.
Approximately 42 million Americans — or 1 in 8 people nationwide — receive Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) payments, formerly known as food stamps.
The payments, which average $350 per month per household, are deposited monthly on debit cards that can be used on groceries and other food at supermarkets and convenience stores.

Only about 10% of SNAP recipients are not US citizens based on government statistics. 30% are white.
There is always a juggling game with stats. In this case, one of the games might be that a citizen may be the person drawing the benefit but the qualifying folks may be non-citizens. That’s just a guess. There are probably also games with respect to where different ethnic groups are included. For instance, are Palestinians and Afghans listed as white or Asian etc..

Walmart already employs worker who fill order requests from the store shelves. They and other retailers just need to go full implementation. A customer service area where the customer uses a kiosk to identify what they want, ring up the bill, and then a 'filler' will gather the goods to be transfer to the purchaser at the customer service area. It's that or many more food deserts.

I saw an assertion that roughly 20% of the food benefits we're talking about here go to citizens of this country.
The other 80 percent goes to illegals, those here on visas, and those here on refugee status. I wish "our" side did a better job of explaining to the 20% why so many of us have a problem with "their" benefits.
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] The US Department of Justice is being asked to review every single executive action taken by the Biden administration following a months-long inquiry by top investigators in the US House of Representatives.
A lengthy report released Tuesday by the House Oversight Committee — led by Republican Chairman James Comer — describes the deeply 'flawed process', akin to a 'presidential pardon game of telephone' used in the Biden White House.
Among the most controversial measures taken via autopen by the former president were the pardons of Dr. Anthony Fauci, General Mark Milley, and members of Congress who served on the January 6th committee. Biden also pardoned members of his family - James B. Biden, Sara Jones Biden, Valerie Biden Owens, John T. Owens, and Francis W. Biden - on his last full day in office.
The House Committee, led by Comer, is effectively asking the Department of Justice to invalidate Biden's actions, including some of his most controversial pardons - a move that would be without precedent.
A 1869 federal court ruling notes that, 'the law undoubtedly is, that when a pardon is complete, there is no power to revoke it, any more than there is power to revoke any other completed act.'
In total, President Biden issued 149 executive actions during his time as president. A Heritage Foundation report released earlier this year showed that Biden used the autopen as early as day five in office.
Comparatively, President Donald Trump has already signed 210 Executive orders in 2025, preferring to conduct those signings with a large media presence. Trump signed 220 executive orders during the entirety of his first term.
Joe Biden's only hand-signed pardon during his final months in office was also his most controversial - his son, Hunter.
Tuesday's report exposes how 'Biden's top advisors, political operatives, and personal physician concealed the President's mental and physical decline from the American people, per the Oversight Committee's letter.
Capitol Hill Republicans have used every tool at their disposal to uncover potential misconduct by former President Joe Biden's top White House aides since the investigation was announced earlier this summer.
House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman James Comer issued formal subpoenas to Biden's former White House Physician, Dr. Kevin O'Connor, as well as other top Biden aides, Anthony Bernal and Annie Tomasini.
While other former top Biden aides did testify, all three aforementioned aides pleaded the Fifth Amendment, invoking the right against self-incrimination when asked to testify by Comer's committee. The Daily Mail has reached out to a point of contact for former Biden aides for comment.
The refusal of Dr. O'Connor to testify before the House Oversight Committee raised numerous red flags for investigators, who have also asked for his medical license to be reviewed following the release of their report.
In a letter to Dr. Andrea Anderson, Board Chair of the DC Board of Medicine, Comer notes that 'The Committee has found that President Biden's aides coordinated a cover-up of the president's diminishing faculties.'
Comer additionally notes that the board should investigate if O'Connor 'was derelict in his duty as a physician by, including but not limited to, issuing misleading medical reports, misrepresenting treatments, failing to conform to standards of practice, or other acts in violation of District of Columbia law regulating licensed physicians.'
Comer also suggests that the Board punish O'Connor by imposing 'discipline, sanction, or revocation of his medical license.'
Another top doc in former President Biden's orbit, Dr. Anthony Fauci, is sure to face increased scrutiny as well.
In Capitol Hill's upper chamber, Senator Rand Paul is leading an investigation into Fauci, and has asked him to testify before Congress once more.
Senator Paul exclusively told the Daily Mail last month, in the midst of a Kentucky campaign swing, that there are serious questions about Fauci's pardon, which was among those signed by Biden via autopen.
'There's a question of whether or not that's a valid pardon,' Paul said at the time, adding that 'the only way to determine that is to take it to court.'
Paul also expressed doubts at the time that Biden 'may not have been aware of what he was pardoning,' a view supported by new evidence from House investigators in their latest report.
House Oversight's report shed light on the never-before-exposed chain of command in the Biden White House, which appears to have relied heavily on secondary and tertiary information passed along by decision makers who were not even present in certain meetings.
Investigators describe the chain of command as 'lax', and the instances of the 'clemency actions taken in the final days of the Biden presidency' are described as the 'most flagrant.'
One particular instance laid out in the report highlights former White House Chief of Staff Jeff Zients admitting that not all decisions made by the president were formally documented. Investigators also note several times that Biden made executive decisions verbally.
The pardons of Biden family members were communicated 'second-hand' to a Zients aide, Rosa Po, who informed Zients about the pardons. He then 'verbally authorized the use of the autopen from home' without knowing who actually executed the signatures.
Acting through his aide's email, Zients approved the autopen's use for the clemency actions without confirming with President Biden that those were in fact his wishes.
Due to concerns about the president's mental state and the opaque approval process, the Committee has deemed all autopen-signed executive actions without direct, written presidential consent to be invalid.

...As a practical matter, those pardoned will stay pardoned - that's a can of worms NOBODY wants to open, all the more so because the minute the Dems get back into power they'll start yanking pardons back so fast your heads will spin.
What does need to happen is that DOJ needs to make it clear that the process used to obtain these pardons was catastrophically flawed at best, and at worst illegal and unconstitutional. They need to make it clear that anyone who pulls this stunt again is at the very least going to be banned from further government service and permanently stripped of their clearances, and will face jail time.

Future pardons are easy to defend based on precedent and the Constitution. The power for the president to grant pardons is absolute, but there is no absolute power of the Chief of Staff to sell the president’s fake signature because the president has no marbles left.
These pardons weren’t signed by Biden, so they are different. DC folks don’t want to deal with two parts of this issue in particular: they all knew that Biden was senile before he was elected and they all know that pardons are routinely bought and sold. Dealing with the auto pen stuff will lead directly to those two facts. All of them are implicated in covering up Biden’s obvious impairment even if that involves just staying quiet. It’s like Cindy McCain’s admission about Epstein. With respect to pardons being bought and sold, they all know that this happens. Certainly, it happened with Biden’s flurry at the end. Everyone around him was cashing out. The fact that this level of obvious corruption was blatantly on display like a flea market for clemency “damages an institution” in the eyes of DC folks.

[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] When the future Mrs Gavin Newsom started dating him there was some confusion - lots of people thought she was a teenage model half his age whom he had also been linked to.
Jennifer Newsom later recalled: 'The whole first month we were dating, everyone thought I was her [the 19-year-old model] and were saying, "We need to card you."'
Indeed, the likeness was striking, and not just between those two women - the wife of a close friend of Newsom's, whom he had an affair with in the noughties - bore a passing resemblance too.
Back in those days Newsom did a lot of apologizing, including over his 'problems' with alcohol, which he said he would address. He never went to rehab, despite initially indicating he would.
Of course, it was all a long time ago. Newsom and his wife Jennifer have now been happily married for 16 years and have four children.
And, on Sunday he confirmed his ambition to run for the White House in 2028, telling CBS: 'Yeah, I'd be lying otherwise. I'd just be lying. And I can't do that.'
He added: 'I'm looking forward to who presents themselves in 2028 and who meets that moment. And that's the question for the American people.'
Newsom is already the clear favorite for the Democratic nomination. But Republican operatives are busily looking at the scandals they can revisit, and his own supporters will also have to reckon with his past.
Another potential banana skin for Newsom is expected to be the infamous French Laundry scandal. The incident, named after a swanky restaurant where he dined during the pandemic, is set to haunt him in the campaign to come. But more on that later.

No doubt he will lie and spin about these matters and the MSM will not delve into them. Democrat candidates who run against him might be afraid to raise these concerns because then he would talk about their problems.
But then, it could get down and dirty. Let's hope for that.
