[Regnum] The bodies of six people killed Friday at the Litoral prison in Ecuadorian Guayaquil have been identified as Colombians accused of killing the country's presidential candidate Fernando Villavicencio . The penitentiary service announced this on October 7 on the social network X (formerly Twitter).
The bodies of six prisoners were discovered on October 5 in the Litoral prison. After conducting the necessary examinations, it was established that all the victims were citizens of Colombia and were accused of the murder of former presidential candidate Fernando Villavicencio.
Earlier, IA Regnum reported that Ecuadorian presidential candidate from the Stroy movement, Fernando Villavicencio, was shot dead at a rally in Quito on August 9, and nine more people were wounded. According to the Ecuadorian Prosecutor General's Office, the suspect in the murder of Villavicencio, who had previously received threats, died from gunshot wounds. A total of six people were detained in connection with the case.
In addition, a week before the elections, Pedro Briones , who led the political movement “Civil Revolution” in the Esmeraldas province of Ecuador, was killed by unknown assailants near his home.
[Gateway] This week on ’The Five’ of FOX News, Greg Gutfeld went into a rant about crime and the effect it’s having on the country.
He pointed out how the left gets away with crimes by being seen as perpetual victims, while J6ers are treated differently because the left views them as oppressors.
Towards the end, he suggests that this is proof that our elections don’t work. Some people on the left are really freaking out about this segment and saying that Gutfeld was calling for civil war.

/\ VDH and many other thinkers and historians agree with you. Clearly, if you are in conflict with totalitarianism and anarchy and are not defeating it, you are losing the conflict.

My question is, where did the parts come from? I mean, physically. They had to originate from a plant or shop somewhere. Are they intentional counterfeits, are they failed parts that got 'pencil whipped' into compliance, or something else?
Because if there's a supply source out there that's intentionally producing bogus very specialized parts, and evidently knows how to place them into the accepted product stream, business is in a world of hurt.

^ Good points. They have to be close enough to pass general inspection by mechanics. The materials may be cheaper but not necessarily detectable by a trained eye

If you farm out manufacturing to China, they will copy your design and sell knock off parts to your customers. It is very like doing business with Amazon.

This is a far more common issue than most realize. I worked in the Aviation industry for decades. The FBI and FAA have teams to go after them. Rolls had an issue with fake turbine blade that devastated the helicopter industry for a while. Its not just China, American industries are at it as well, just not on the scale as China. I'm curious as to where the engine parts came from and what company sold them to Pratt.

OK, so it looks like, trying to read it, this was a self reporting issue. Meaning AOG noticed an issue and called the FAA, like they should. We like to jump straight to fraud, but it could be as simple as the historical paperwork for the seals and turbine are lost of incorrectly filled out. Firms that sell to airlines go through pretty significant check. We will see.

OK, it's in CRM-56 engines. Workhorse, everyday 737 types (not MAX, that's a bigger engine).
Which means traceability can break down (easily happens) and somebody later notices that batch numbers don't match.
It's not cutting edge stuff, nobody farms out cutting edge. That's how you give away trade secrets.
But the paper shufflers are supposed to keep up with this stuff. Maybe they were working remote for Wuflu, and nobody really looked at the actual documents.
That's the thing about manufacturing. It doesn't matter how computerized and robotic the process gets. Somebody, a real person somewhere, has to pick up the part and check stuff.
Or all you're selling is paperwork.

[Regnum] New Zealand geologists have created the most accurate map of the sunken continent of Zealand and explained its sudden dive under water, according to the RIA Novosti material.
“Zeeland is not sea islands, but an entire continent with an area of five million square kilometers,” the scientists found.
In their opinion, New Zealand is only a small part of the huge fragment of Gondwana, almost completely hidden in the ocean. Marine expeditions in recent years and satellite data have allowed geologists to recreate a detailed map of the seventh continent, which geologists have been talking about since the 19th century. Scientists have found that Zealand has plains, mountains, plateaus, depressions and shelves hidden under water.
Gondwana is a giant supercontinent that hundreds of millions of years ago united Africa and South America, Antarctica and Australia. Zealandia once accounted for about 5% of the area of Gondwana.
New Zealand scientist Nick Mortimer, who devoted his life to researching this region and proving the existence of the seventh continent, together with his colleagues completed a map of the continent, and was also able to accurately describe the split of Gondwanaland. Thus, scientists have proven that about a hundred million years ago the united Australia and Antarctica separated, while Zealand was still connected to western Antarctica. And since they separated for about two tens of millions of years, the base of the continent became very thin and sank under water.
Russian scientists also analyzed offshore drilling data and came to the conclusion that after separation from Australia, Zealand was much less drowned and even drained. They drew a parallel with the Lomonosov Ridge in the Arctic Ocean, which is considered a continuation of Eurasia. There is the same thin foundation under water. In their opinion, both areas were located near sea level for a long time, and then experienced rapid subsidence to great depths.
Mortimer wrote in one of his articles that continental rocks were lifted from the Campbell and Challenger sea plateaus, located on both sides of New Zealand, which made it possible to delineate the boundaries and estimate the area of the block.
Another argument in favor of the reality of Zealand was the discovery by scientists of traces of deep melt, which was introduced into the strata during the collapse of this part of Gondwana. The composition of the melt is similar to that found at the roots of ancient continents.
Thus, according to scientists, 95 percent of Zealand is hidden under water.
As Regnum reported, the ancient continent of Zealand, hidden under water, was discovered during a large-scale 10-year study. Scientists in 2017 proved that the continental thickness of the crust of the new continent is within 10-30 km, while in New Zealand the thickness of the crust is about 40 km. This thickness is typical for continents. The thickness of the earth's crust in ocean basins does not exceed 7 km.

So why did it sink? Seems there's a great deal of suckin' going on down there.

...it didn't sink. Dontcha know all those fires by early humanoids raised earth's temperature and the ocean levels that overwhelmed them! (do I need to put a /sarc on that?)
