#1 Grom, are the Palestinians going to get full military support this time from the Arab world (and Iran) - it looks to me like they think the timing is right for it, given the 'signals' from the Biden administration.

#2 ^IMO Hamas Leadership motivated by Iranian money (Iran doesn't want Israel-Saudi detente) and simple consideration - based on past experience: they lose some foot soldiers and some civilians (= money from the West), but Israel will not be allowed to finish them off - there will be an enforced cease fire.
But maybe, just maybe, they haven't taken everything into account.
(a) Iran will never fight for them - to Iran they're dogs.
(b) USA looks for ways to dump Ukraine - discussed in another post here Russia is behind Hamas attacks - ombudsman. Moreover, voters aren't happy with Biden kissing Iran's a$$. So switch focus to Iran, and - in particular - no cease fire for Iran's tool Hamas.
(c) Most importantly, previously Israel was handicaped by believing peace with Palestinians is possible.
