‘Demonic' MS-13 felon dismembers Florida Uber Eats driver: sheriff
Just put him down, preferably alive, involving "Anti-MS-13" alligators
[NY Post] A "demonic" MS-13 gang member robbed and dismembered an Uber Eats driver in Florida for no apparent reason last week, police said Tuesday.

Oscar Solis, 30, who moved to the Sunshine State in January after being sprung on parole from Indiana,
May one move out of state while out on parole?
allegedly "yanked" Randall Cooke, 59, into his home on April 19 and butchered him, according to Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco.

Cooke was making his final delivery of the night and the last thing he texted his wife was to tell her he would be home soon before his brutal murder.

"He was just a guy trying to make a living for his family," Nocco said at a press conference, calling the murder "demonic."

When her ensuing texts went unanswered, Cooke’s wife contacted police and reported him missing later that night.

Investigators contacted Uber Eats, which relayed his final recorded location that night as a residential street address in Holiday.

Deputies canvassed the house the day after Cooke’s disappearance, but no one answered the door, and there was nothing suspicious about the scene, Nocco said.

They returned the following day, on April 21, and were able to make contact with an occupant of the home, who provided them with surveillance footage from the preceding days.

Nocco said Cooke could be seen on the porch of the home the night of April 19 with the food order.

The video then showed a resident of the home, Oscar Solis, and another person carrying trash bags around the side of the residence the following day.

"Unfortunately, what we found inside some of those trash bags were human remains," Nocco said.

Solis — a 315lb strip club security officer,
Seriously? That’s casting against type...
according to an affadavit — was immediately picked up and charged with failing to register in Pasco County as a felon before investigators gathered enough evidence to charge him with murder.

Afghanistan
Daily Evacuation Brief April 26, 2023
[AfghanDigest] LAST 24 HOURS
  • THE TALIBAN NEUTRALIZED THE ISIS-K PLANNER RESPONSIBLE FOR THE BOMBING AT HAMID KARZAI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT IN AUGUST 2021 – Taliban officials announced that the man responsible for the planning and execution of the deadly Abbey Gate bombing that killed nearly 200 people in August 2021 had been killed in a security operation in Southern Afghanistan in April. At the time, the Taliban could not confirm the man’s identity but a subsequent investigation of captured documents indicates he was the ISIS-K mastermind behind the attack. Several US officials have anonymously confirmed the report to several news outlets but the man’s name has yet to be released.

  • TURKEY VOLUNTEERS TO LOBBY FOR IEA RECOGNITION…MAYBE – A spokesman for the Taliban said that recent talks with Turkey’s Ambassador in Kabul had yielded a pledge from Ankara to work on the IEA’s behalf for the much-desired international status. If true, there are still several obstacles to overcome. The elections in Turkey next month could see Erdogan replaced by a pro-Europe leader and the Taliban could find itself without a champion in NATO. The IEA has made grand announcements such as these before and Nations have been forced to ‘clarify’ what was actually said so, it is advisable to take this pronouncement with a grain of salt.

  • US ENVOY SAYS NORMAL RELATIONS WITH AFGHANISTAN IMPOSSIBLE WITHOUT A CHANGE IN STANCE ON HUMAN RIGHTS – Rina Amiri, the special envoy for women, girls, and human rights said on Tuesday that the Taliban will only be recognized when it commits to respecting the rights of all Afghans. Her comments echo those of other State Department functionaries who have sought to clarify the US’s stance after the UN’s Deputy Secretary General seemingly indicated that recognition would be on the table at a May meeting.

  • COST OF FLIGHTS FROM AFGHANISTAN DOUBLES OVER PAST YEAR – Citizens are now paying twice as much as it costs to fly from Kabul compared to last year and the expenses have caused consternation among business leaders in particular. Travel agents in Afghanistan say the number of people purchasing tickets had fallen in 2023 and a lack of competition from other international carriers has contributed to the rise in prices. Business leaders have asked the Taliban to look into the situation or, they say they will not be able to secure deals to improve the economy. It is not clear what the Taliban could do beyond offering a subsidy to offset costs. A spokesman for the Taliban said they would consider implementing cost controls, similar to what was put into practice with regional carriers in early 2022.

NEXT 24 HOURS
REPORT FROM THE CONFERENCE IN VIENNA EXPECTED TODAY – The second round of talks with largely anti-Taliban leaders and experts are expected to conclude with a statement that outlines strategies for the International Community to engage with the Taliban regime. A source present at the talks in Austria says that a number of meetings have been scheduled after the conference concludes which may be pivotal. The source declined to say who would attend the post-conference meetings. The Taliban cast doubt on the efficacy of the Austria meetings and continued to heap criticism on Afghan leaders living in exile.

Taliban kills ISIS mastermind behind deadly Kabul airport bombing: reports
[NY Post] "Cool now? Give us money"
A Taliban-led operation has taken out the ISIS terrorist responsible for killing 13 American service members during the US withdrawal from Afghanistan, according to multiple reports.

The deadly suicide bombing, which also killed upwards of 170 Afghan civilians, took place outside Abbey Gate of Hamid Karzai International Airport on Aug. 26, 2021.

US officials told Fox News on Monday that the terrorist mastermind who directed the attack "has been killed in a Taliban operation" and that the Biden administration had "recently become aware" of the ISIS-K operative.

...... the personification of Somali state failure...
following the first operation which was termed successful by President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud.

Abdiaziz Mohammed Mohammed, a deputy commander of the Danab operations, departed this vale of tears at hospital days after being seriously maimed by al-Shabaab in Mogadishu days ago, according to senior military officials.

The late officer was trained in different countries, including Uganda and US, and reached the rank of first lieutenant in the army. He was at the forefront of the special operation against bully boyz who often target senior government officials and military teams in their attacks.

Mohamud was a senior Danab member and his death could deal a major blow to the brigade. Defense Minister Abdulkadir Mohammed Nur paid tribute for his sacrifice, terming him a martyr who was committed to seeing a liberated Somalia given his coordination skills on operations.

Warring parties agree to a new 72-hour truce in Sudan, gov’t accuses RSF of violating ceasefire after 1/2 hour
[SUDANTRIBUNE] Following intense negotiations led by the United States, the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces have agreed to a 72-hour nationwide ceasefire starting from midnight on Monday.

The ceasefire comes after nine days of heavy fighting between the two parties, which has led to the death of over four hundred people, injuries, and the destruction of strategic facilities in Khartoum.

The United States State Department has welcomed the agreement and has urged both parties to comply fully with the ceasefire.

In a statement, the Sudanese army front man said that the ceasefire was agreed upon for humanitarian reasons and to ease the burden on the citizens, who have been suffering amid the fighting. The regular army also highlighted the need for both parties to comply with the requirements for the continuation of the ceasefire.

The paramilitary Rapid Support Forces, for their part, confirmed their commitment to the truce to open humanitarian corridors, facilitate the movement of citizens, and reach hospitals and safe areas, among other things.

In a statement about the truce, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken pledged to coordinate with regional and international partners, and Sudanese civilian stakeholders, to create a committee to "oversee the negotiation, conclusion, and implementation of a permanent cessation of hostilities and humanitarian arrangements in Sudan".

Further, the front man for the political process, Khalid Omer Youssif said that this ceasefire is different from previous truces as it addresses specific issues and outlines the necessary mechanisms to reach a final agreement.

RSF violates ceasefire, difficult to set date for end of military operations: Sudan army spox

[AlAhram] In an interview with Ahram Online on Tuesday, the spokesman for the Sudanese Armed Forces, Brigadier General Nabil Abdullah, accused the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) of violating a new three-day ceasefire brokered by the United States and Saudi Arabia less than half an hour after it came into effect on Monday.

11 dead as ship carrying over 80 migrants sinks near Libya
[GEO.TV] The Libyan coastguard retrieved the 11 dead bodies of migrants colonists including a minor after their Europe-bound boat sank off the North African country's coast.

The coastguard also rescued at least four survivors of the wreckage who were able to swim to shore after the incident. Authorities in the town of Garabulli, some 50 km east of Tripoli
...a confusing city, one end of which is located in Lebanon and the other end of which is the capital of Libya. Its chief distinction is being mentioned in the Marine Hymn...
, were alerted to the presence of bodies floating in the water a few metres from the shore.

Bodies of 10 men and a girl were recovered and placed in white body bags, and rescued the survivors who were too drained to escape on foot, a journalist said. The survivors lay on the grass and tried to catch their breath and regain stability after getting food and drink from the saviours.

One of the survivors said the boat was carrying over 80 people before it drowned near the coastline.

Some fled the area after swimming back to shore, but the fate of other migrants colonists was not immediately clear.

According to passports shown by the survivors, those on board the stricken vessel were of various nationalities, including Bangladesh, Egypt and Pakistain.

In the evening, the coastguard carried out a second mission to rescue migrants colonists on board another boat in distress off the same city.

"We rescued 61 migrants colonists who were on another boat and they are all safe... they are from Syria, Pakistain, Bangladesh and African countries," an official of the Garabulli coastguard told AFP.

More than a decade of violence in Libya since the fall and killing of dictator Moamer Qadaffy in 2011 helped turn the country into a fertile ground for human traffickers who have been accused of abuses ranging from extortion to slavery.

A resident of Ingushetia put on the wanted list in the case of involvement in militants
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[KavkazUzel] The investigation suspected a resident of Ingushetia of participating in a terrorist organization and put her on the international wanted list.

The investigating authorities of Ingushetia opened a criminal case on participation in the activities of an international terrorist organization against a 28-year-old local resident suspected of involvement in the activities of an international terrorist organization, the department of the Investigative Committee for the republic reported today.

"According to the investigation, the suspect left for Syria no later than January 2015, where she joined an international terrorist organization, in which she is still a member," the ministry's website said in a statement.

The suspect has been put on the international wanted list.

The "Caucasian Knot" also wrote that in February 2022, the investigation reported on the initiation of a criminal case against a resident of Ingushetia. According to investigators, in May 2016, a 41-year-old resident of Ingushetia arrived in the Syrian city of Raqqa, where she voluntarily joined the structural unit of ISIS.

"The suspect performs the functions of cooking, housekeeping, providing medical care and caring for wounded militants taking part in hostilities against the government forces of the Syrian Arab Republic," the Ingushetia Investigative Committee said at the time.

German authorities arrest two Syrian brothers in Germany over suspicion of planning to carry out an explosive attack against civilian targets
[PUBLISH.TWITTER]

German authorities arrested on Tuesday two Syrian brothers on suspicion of planning to carry out an explosives attack motivated by "radical Islamist and jihadist" views against "civilian targets" in the city of Hamburg.

Federal police said officers arrested the 28-year-old man in Hamburg based on a court-issued warrant for suspected terrorism financing offenses.

The man was encouraged and supported in his action by his 24-year-old brother, who lives in the southern town of Kempten, according to the police.

Investigators say the two brothers are suspected of trying to obtain substances online that would have allowed him to manufacturer an boom belt "in order to carry out an attack against civilian targets."

Police searched properties in Hamburg and Kempten, seizing large amounts of evidence including chemical substances, officials said.

Some 250 officers were involved in the operation.

Interior Minister Nancy Faeser said the case showed that the danger of Islamic extremism remained high.

ANTIFA Gets Arrested
More on this story from two days ago — the shenanigans of the Elm Fork John Brown Gun Club, the local branch of one of many Antifa organizations.
[Townhall] The Fort Worth Police Department released surveillance and body camera videos of Antifa members attacking people who were protesting a drag event and then resisting arrest from officers after they attempted to bring them in custody for the initial assault.

The first video taken from a surveillance camera shows the Antifa members walking over to the side of the street where the anti-drag protesters were. The Antifa group started to surround them and one of them used pepper spray on the protesters. Fort Worth Police say many in the Antifa crowd were armed with either handguns or long guns.

Fowlkes was charged with assault causes bodily injury, evading arrest, resisting arrest, assault on a peace officer. Guillott was charged with interference with public duties and assault on a peace officer. Grant was charged with interference with public duties and resisting arrest.

When responding officers tried to get suspect Samuel Fowlkes to surrender, Fowlkes can be seen on body camera walking, then running away from the officers. This forced the officers to grab Fowlkes to arrest him. Other Antifa members can be seen fighting the police. Christopher Guillott swung an umbrella and hit an officer in the face before being arrested.

Fowlkes continued to resist arrest after being pinned to the ground and called out for help. An officer can be heard telling Fowlkes to not reach for a gun or else he is going to be shot. After Fowlkes was secured, Meghan Grant charged the officers, claiming one of the arrestees needed medical attention, being pushed back multiple times before being taken into custody.

The Grand Turk
Turkey detains over 100 pro-Kurdish individuals ahead of elections
[Rudaw] Ottoman Turkish police arrested over 100 pro-Kurdish lawyers, journalists, self-proclaimed geniuss and politicians, including a bigwig of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) in raids early Tuesday morning, weeks ahead of the parliamentary elections.

The operation took place in the Kurdish city of Diyarbakir (Amed) and 20 other provinces, resulting in the arrest of at least 110 individuals for alleged links to the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), reported Ottoman Turkish state media Anadolu Agency.

Tayip Temel, a HDP politician in the Ottoman Turkish parliament was the first to reveal that the arrests had been carried out, claiming it was an attempt by The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...just another cheapjack Moslem dictatorship, brought to you by the Moslem Brüderbund...
’s ruling power to hold onto power ahead of the elections in May. He said that journalists, artists, lawyers, and members of the pro-Kurdish party were tossed into the calaboose.

In a statement, the HDP condemned the arrests and labeled the raids as "an operation to steal the ballot box and the will of the people."

"The AKP-MHP government [Justice and Development Party and Nationalist Movement Party], which is on the brink of the biggest election defeat in its history, continues to attack our party, non-governmental organizations, social dynamics and the opposition with panic and fear," the statement continued.

The HDP also added that the party’s deputy co-chair, Ozlem Gunduz, and central executive committee member Mahvuz Guleryuz were among the detainees. The party called the operation a "coup attempt" against the elections, calling on people to stand up against it the arrests.

The Associate Director of Human Rights Watch in Europa
...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum...
and Central Asia Emma Sinclair-Webb, called the wave of arrests "an abuse of powers and intimidation tactic."

There has not been any official comment from the ruling parties.

This is not the first time HDP members and sympathizers face such raids. In 2020, Ottoman Turkish authorities issued arrest warrants for 82 people, including HDP officials, former parliamentarians, and a mayor, in relation to 2014 protests in Turkey during the Islamic State

(ISIS) attacks on the city of in northeast Syria (Rojava).

HDP itself is facing the threat of being closed down as the Ottoman Turkish prosecutor’s office filed a case against the party at the Ottoman Turkish constitutional court for its alleged ties to the PKK. HDP refused to have a defense in the hearing of the case on April 11.

The Ottoman Turkish parliamentary and presidential elections are set to take place on May 14, with the sights set on a possible government change two decades after the ruling AKP came to power.

HDP will contest the elections as the Green Left Party (Yesil Sol), and they are viewed as the decisive factor in the elections. The party also expressed implicit support for the opposition presidential candidate Kemal Kilicdaroglu to unseat current President His Enormity, Sultan Recep Tayyip Erdogan the First
...Turkey's version of Mohammed Morsi but they voted him back in so they deserve him. It's a sin, a shame, and a felony to insult the president of Turkey. That's 968 more than in the White House, 400 more than in Versailles, and 325 more than Buckingham Palace, so you know who's really more important...

Iraqi, Lebanese authorities arrest dangerous Captagon dealer
[Shafaq News] Iraqi and Lebanese authorities have collaborated to arrest a "dangerous" suspect involved in the illegal trade of the drug, Captagon.

The Ministry of Interior announced the arrest on Tuesday, stating that it was the result of a "qualitative operation" based on accurate intelligence.

According to a statement from the ministry, "the Directorate General for Drug Control, with the coordination of Lebanese security agencies, was able to arrest the suspect (B.D.S), who is considered one of the three most dangerous suspects involved in the illegal trade of Captagon. Israeli moderately hurt in West Bank shooting targeting Memorial Day running event
[IsraelTimes] 28-year-old Mordechai Gideon taken to Hadassah Medical Center, where he recalls seeing ’a lot of blood’; military sets up roadblocks, scans area of Silwad for suspects

One person was moderately maimed in a shooting attack in the northern West Bank on Tuesday, as Israel was marking Memorial Day for fallen soldiers and terror victims, military and medics said.

According to the Israel Defense Forces, the apparent drive-by shooting attack occurred near the so-called British Police junction on the Route 60 highway, close to the West Bank town of Silwad.

The man was part of a group of joggers staging a Memorial Day run commemorating fallen soldiers.

The Magen David Adom ambulance service said the 28-year-old Israeli man was injured in his hand by the gunfire and was taken to Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem. The maimed man was later named as Mordechai Gideon by Hebrew media.

The military said troops were scanning the area for suspects and had set up roadblocks to aid in the search.

Israel came to a standstill for two minutes on Tuesday to commemorate the country’s fallen soldiers and terror victims, amid fears the current political turmoil over the government’s judicial overhaul could overshadow ceremonies scheduled to take place throughout the day.

During the events, the nation stops to commemorate the 24,213 killed in service to the state and the pre-state Jewish community and the 4,255 victims of terror.

Tuesday’s attack comes a day after five people were maimed in a car-ramming terror attack near Jerusalem’s Mahane Yehuda market.

Shaare Zedek Medical Center on Tuesday morning published an update on the condition of two victims that required surgery. A man in his 80s was in a serious condition and remained unconscious and on a respirator, after undergoing surgery for multi-systemic injuries. Another woman in her 30s was listed in moderate condition.

The Paleostinian driver was identified as 39-year-old Hatem Najma, a father of five from the Beit Safafa neighborhood, which straddles the Green Line that marked Israel’s pre-1967 boundaries. He had no known prior security offenses but was known to have mental health issues.

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
SDF detain four ISIS operatives in Raqqa
[Rudaw] The coalition on Monday said that the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) detained four members of the Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems...
(ISIS) in the terror group’s former capital of Raqqa earlier this month in operations supported by the US-led force.

The operations were "advised, assisted, and enabled by Coalition forces" and managed to arrest the four suspects "while conducting searches for weapons, explosives and other illicit items, with the focus on disrupting and dismantling ISIS networks," according to a statement by the Combined Special Operations Joint Task Force — Levant (SOJTF-Levant).

The SDF has recently carried out several raids against ISIS in Syria, arresting many suspects as the partnership between the Kurdish-led force and the coalition remains strong.

"Coalition Forces continue to see successful results with SDF-led operations in ar-Raqqah province," SOJTF-Levant Commander US Air Force Brigadier Claude Tudor said. "We continue to advise, assist, and enable our SDF partners by reviewing key infrastructure requirements that will play a critical role in the enduring defeat of ISIS."

On Monday, the coalition said that ISIS activities in Syria have seen a 55 percent decrease since the beginning of the year while praising the SDF for their effectiveness in the fight against ISIS.

Suspected Turkish drone strike kills SDF fighter in Kobane
[Rudaw] A suspected Ottoman Turkish dronezap on the city of Kobane in northern Syria targeted a car belonging to a fighter of the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) on Tuesday morning and resulted in his death, the force said.

"A car that was carrying one of our fighters while he was spending the Eid al-Fitr holiday in the Kobane region was attacked by drones of the Ottoman Turkish occupation, which led to his death," a statement from the force read.

According to the UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), two members of the local Kurdish administration in the region were killed and a third was "seriously injured" in the strike.

The Observatory added that the attack marked the twelfth strike carried out by The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire...
against areas controlled by Kurdish forces this year, killing at least 13 people.

Turkey accuses the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG), the backbone of the SDF, of being the Syrian wing of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), an gang struggling for Kurdish rights in Turkey and named a terror group by Ankara. The YPG denies the charge.

On April 14, another suspected Ottoman Turkish dronezap in northeast Syria’s (Rojava) Qamishli city killed a senior SDF member.

Earlier in April, a dronezap targeted a convoy of American military personnel and SDF General Commander Mazloum Abdi near Sulaimani airport in the Kurdistan Region. US Central Command (CENTCOM) is investigating the attack.
