#4 To me, Michelle Obama is the obvious choice. While I am not confident she would have won in a primary race, she could be nominated at the Convention if Biden withdraws before that, or selected afterwards. If she campaigned Biden-style (do nothing, say nothing) she would beat Trump, probably easily.

#10 I think it is likely that Joe will resist every attempt to step-down voluntarily, his keptocrat family is will aware that he can be 25ted by the Cabinet in a heartbeat. It is the Kamala roadblock that is the sticking point. If they can buy her obedience and agreement to step away from the ticket, they will insert a newly crafted puppet team into the election from the convention.
Her ego remains a hurdle so far...but enough money may buy the doorway to the Sacramento Satrapy.
