◉ The Kauda - Al-Khirsana road intersects with the national highway linking Kadugli and Talodi in the areas of Al-Hamra and Tambura. If the Armed Forces gain control of these two points, the SPLM-N will enter a state of complete siege, severely limiting its ability to deliver supplies, which could affect the balance of the battles.
◉ On the eastern axis, the forces of the 10th Infantry Division of the Armed Forces are now approximately 40 kilometers away from the city of Kauda, which the SPLM-N uses as its main center of operations.
