Qassam Brigades attacks Israeli Forces in Khan Younis

, has asserted responsibility for engaging in combat with Israeli forces west of Khan Younis, Al Jazeera reported.

The group reported employing anti-personnel shells against a 15-member Israeli unit taking refuge in a house.

In a statement, the Qassam Brigades declared that their fighters confirmed the Israeli soldiers' casualties, with some falling between dead and injured.

The statement noted the audible screams of the soldiers as the area ignited in flames during the confrontation.
