OK! Methane is used in producing hydrogen, methanol, ammonia and others things. All of which are needed for fertilizers and other industrial produce processing. In short it lowers food production costs.

But what will $45B actually mean in the overall final delivered price?
With the US producing and using over 35+ trillion cubic feet per year. At around $26.45 per thousand cubic feet.

We talking a few pennies per thousand cubic feet?

So this is little more than attention deflection.

8 We had some engineering students in Moorhead who designed an entire farm around methane collection. Fuel and so on. Back when gas was cheep.

9 Ok — I just tried to pull up a link I had saved from Michael Yon’s old website about Gobar Gas, which apparently no longer exists. Not a problem, but wondering if he had transferred it to wherever he is writing now, I looked him up and found him on Substack, saying/writing things like this:
