We have had 4 Super El Niño events in the last 75 years. With the 1877–1878 El Niño event killing an estimated 50 Million.

However, the El Niño cycle impacts given areas differently. Some with actually see increased rainfall and flooding like my Southern States. Which are in bad need of ground water to feed the 100+ data center cooling systems, going online soon.

You Yankees will likely get a warmer winter. ☺

6 the majoritarian view is the incipient El Nino has severely repressed hurricane development in the North Atlantic and increased it in the Northeast Pacific.

of course it could also be due to the Gulf of Mexico being renamed or to the bad season of the NY Mets or to bacteria in lettuce
