4 RE #2, Good luck getting access to the IRS website which is how you need to "update" your banking details. Maybe you can deal with the ID.me bullcrap to get access but I gave up because it was so poorly implemented and wasted so much of my time. Then I tried to get an appointment at my local IRS branch office. They don't answer the phones. You cannot get an appointment and if you just show up at the office they tell you to get lost. A week or so ago they finally sent me a check.
