2 If Iran joined the pact and then attacked Saudi Arabia, Iran would be bound to defend Saudi Arabia from Iran after Iran attacked Saudi Arabia.

Iran has been harbouring one of the Al Qaeda Shura councils since Tora Bora — the other, if I recall correctly, fled to Pakistan at that point— and at least one Osama bin Laden wife and some of his children. And very Sunni Hamas happily accepts Iranian money, arms and training for their joint war against Israel and the Jews, so clearly the intra-Islam hatred is situational.

6 Is there confirmation from someone other than the IRGC? The religious differences have already been mentioned. I question why the other three countries would sign a pact with Iran that obligated them to the defense of the crazies currently running Iran.
