1 DSA are Bernie Sanders. They are not Democrats any more than Tea Party were Republicans. A different political party. DNC rigged their primary for Hillary when Bernie tried to invade. Trump, a lifelong Democrat pulled the same on the RNC but successfully, outraging the Liz Cheney and nevertrump wing, who are still sore today that Trump chased the moneylenders out of their temple with a whip.
Don't be fooled by people who can't see any difference between a socialist party and Democrats. It's the same impulse that calls Republicans Nazis.
The UN convention on genocide says"destruction of a people in whole or in part" which is where this is coming from. Birthrate doesn't matter. Another article mentions "preventing births within the group" which is likely where the confusion is. There are a bunch of articles, written post-WW2 when "never again" was at its strongest.

9 Honestly, I never saw the difference between Democrats and Communists. Most of them are not quite as obvious about it as Mamdani and Sanders but the impulse for government control and confiscation of private property is undeniable in all of them.
