1 Does anyone have a Rantburger biased program that gives a long-term perspective on who we would most want to win or least want to lose? Presently I am not sure how much salt to put on the popcorn while watching all of this play out.

2 I will admit I haven't been following events in Mali very closely. Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong but a quick internet search indicates that FLA/JNIM are Muslim hard boyz similiar to Boko Haram in Nigeria or Al-Shabaab in Somalia. Salt your popcorn to your own taste. But it seems these days this kind of thing is happening all over Africa.
