"- *Arista* (IMO 9348493) is a Comoros-flagged **container ship** under US sanctions.
- Not US-owned — ownership is undisclosed/unknown. It has been stationary near Hormuz Island, Iran since mid-March 2026.
- No independent or US confirmation of any new seizure. The video circulating is the same clip being shared by pro-Iran accounts.

This appears to be recycled Iranian messaging. Earlier 2026 seizures involved different ships (e.g. MSC Francesca)."
