Remember after the Chelyabinsk meteorite was estimated to be around 9,000 tons and 60 ft in size, BEFORE entering earth's atmosphere. It created a 485,010 US Ton TNT explosion. It quickly dissolved/broke up and the largest fragment weighed about 1,200 lb which was 1 on many collected.

So this latest pair even at 1,200 LB, could cause serious damages, depending on several variables and impact location could be disastrous.
