So may I ask the obvious? How have South Korea and Japan managed to retain their shipbuilding capabilities ?

Most Snap-On tools, Allen Edwards shoes. Crayola Crayons, Weber Grills, Smith & Wesson guns, and Airstream Trailers are still made in America. How have they survived.

Pricing? Union, Non-Union, quality? What's the secret sauce.

So will the DOD & DC Swamp just revamp the retired "Rust Fleet" aka "Ghost Fleet" moored on the James River?

OR, will we actually see the modernizing our Navy using a 21st century combat mentality, instead of a 1,000 yr/old combat engagement process?
