Of course. Just as they are subject to arrest and jail time if they cause a traffic accident. Just because they broke the law to come and/or stay here does not mean they don’t have to obey all our other laws. Especially because they law they are being fined for breaking is the one that says they had to leave our country when they were told they were no longer allowed to stay.
