3 Ayatollah Khomeni issued a fatwah against nuclear weapons20 years ago, saying they were un-Islamic.
They prefer cutting throats, and where's the fun if you don't get to do that?

Behind the scenes Iran’s scientists worked steadily to refine large quantities of uranium for nuclear bombs, while parallel tracks developed a warhead to contain it and a missile to carry it. They now have at least 60% refined uranium gas and the delivery vehicles, and in Islamabad boasted to the American negotiators that they have enough refined uranium to make ten nuclear bomb-tipped missiles.
