1 Egypt isn't an adversary nation. They've been an ally ever since Carter's Camp David Accords.
They get billions in aid every year ever since.

2 You’re right. Egypt takes our money and then schemes to support Hamas as a tool against Israel. So they’re Israel’s adversary rather than America’s. But the example in the article is one of the Al Qaeda 9/11 pilots. Nor was he the only Egyptian pilot to commit jihad via commercial jet.

I do wonder if Egypt will be taken off the dole once Israel stops accepting American funds in two years…

3 Carter's genius was offering a gigantic bribe to BOTH sides to stop fighting.
It worked marvelously.
Until MAGA decided to start wars again by cutting off USAID and other foreign aid.
Now we have to send ground troops in to the middle east again. Good job there.

BTW: The former owner Rudi Dekkers of the Huffman Aviation International was Dutch businessman, convicted drug trafficker and tax evader.

Which also begs the question on... How did he get the license and FAA approval to run the school?

Plus he was connected with Bill Gates, and was convicted again of Drug dealing around 2011-12 sometime.

Either way he died back in 2024.
