1 If Netanyahu or Gallant were to set foot in Germany they would be arrested per the official policy of the Merz administration.

The reason would be an ICC warrant issued because of the same accusations as those made by Al-Khatib.

At the same time no leader of the state sponsors of 10/7, not even Khamenei himself, would be in legal trouble in Germany.

If the remarks were "unacceptable" then so is the ICC's and the Merz cabinet's official policy.

If Mr Schneider was sincere he would resign from his cabinet post in protest.
