A country now with a chance at freedom.

Given all the social & physical controls imposed by the Dictatorship / Socialist style Gov over the many years in power, will the people know what to do with the chance they are now given?

ie...
Socialist Venezuela firearm laws, ban private ownership of firearms and ammunition, with exceptions only for the military, police, and certain government-approved groups.

Obviously, the Guilty Elite class will fight, while prepping to flee. On fleeing, usually the elite take huge amounts of the country's remaining assets with them.

Many will flee to avoid answering for their crimes against their own people. Tracking which countries they flee to, for an understanding of the bigger political picture.

Summary: Trump has taken Venezuela in a corporate style takeover in a few days, where most US Presidents take years with less success.

If you compare the mass of Maduro and his wife vs the mass of Ukraine, that is probably about right.

Not long ago, people were wondering about the yuuge build-up of forces which seemed rather excessive for interdicting drug boats. I guess now we know. A very impressive bit of work!
