1 Regardless of how blase the West seems to be about this - discounting it as hyperbole or denying it - the Russian "man in the street" is probably pretty p*ssed off at what seems to be a deliberate and potentially successful decapitation strike. And keep in mind - Putin is a "moderate." The next guy in line to replace him - especially if he is assassinated - is unlikely to be a dove.

Well, yes, that is a concern. Sometimes I like to pose a question about foreign governments "What if that's the best they can do?"

And then, just look at the likes of Joe Biden and Baraq Obama. Apparently they were the best that we could do. So let he who is without sin cast the first stone.
