7 The media is a business. A business should be treated as any other. If the business engages in misrepresentation and fraud it should be subject to law suits by its 'consumers' for a defective product not just liable. Avoidance could be obtained by clearly and publicly announcing that its contents do not necessarily represent the truth or are factual but provided for entertainment purposes only.
