6 I don't know this judge or her claims, but I do remember Desert Storm. It was a very short war, but it was a successful one and the military used it to wash away the frustration of Vietnam. The dusted off the National Defense Service Medal and awarded campaign medals liberally for years as it turned into Desert Shield. The judge is probably a liar, but I have not seen her DD-214.
