6 The BBC are purveyors of deliberate, malicious lies.

Think how long it took somebody to go through Trump's speech, word for word, line by line, looking for a way to make it seem that he said something that he never would have said. Then they had to carefully edit the digital video clip to make it sound and appear absolutely seamless. That's not a mistake. That's a malicious, deliberate lie that was intended to harm the victim.

Dunno what British laws are but, in America, Trump could sue their asses off.

Do it. They are accustomed to being untouchable. I know British liable and slander laws with regard to the press and public figures makes it much harder to win law suits, but I see no difficulty in this case proving liable/slander with deliberate malice, and of the news organization entire, because the entire hierarchy of editors must have been involved.

And with Elon Musk to broadcast the entire thing — and probably at least the Daily Mail among the British press, which pounces gleefully on anything Trump — they won’t be able to keep it quiet.
