6 What we do know is that the Nigerian military is incompetent. The fact that the military in African nations exist to either be the palace guard or the base of replacing the sitting rulers which too often encourages the incompetence choice. The further away from the capital the more likely a place to assign people of low trustworthiness or be given effect tools with which to play with.
