Look, if Pomp & Circumstance is part of the job as Head of State of the USA, and it is with any Head of State, and (if accurate) current capacity is 200 some, a typical rural Kansas town exceeds that number with a typical High School Winter Music Concert, then this is over due so VIPs aren't dreading attending like stuffed into a modern commercial passenger airline flight.

IMHO, that is the sour grapes, that they didn't do it because they previous Champions of Cringe rather have a few select guest rather than inviting more/all VIPs extended family to what will be remembered as long as it stands, as The Trump Wing.

Obama had his chance, even had the Chef for it, at the time. Instead he picked the low, bug eaten fruit of a basketball court, for a couple floppy photo shots.
