4 It sounds like a genius plan, but I don't think they have quite thought this through.

Right now, when Hamas or the PLO or whoever is running Gaza on that particular day stages an attack, we can all pretend that it is not the fault of the noble Paleostinian People(tm). This is just a small band of miscreants making mischief and counter-attacking is mean.

Once Paleostine is an actual state, that cross-border attack becomes an act of war. It is a long-established principle of international diplomacy that if some makes war on you, you get to make war back. No more tut-tutting about humanitarian crises and dead journalists. Is that what you want?
