3 Schumer is treating this as if it is an existential situation. A shutdown does not impact Social Security of most of government to my memory. Ground zero for the impact is DC. This is like Kim Jong Un threatening to bring you to your knees by leveling his own capitol. Dems have no money right now. I think you have to shut it down.
