1 Iran was in the process of enriching their uranium further. That uranium was in a gaseous form. The Centrifuge are trapped under the rubble, but who knows where the gas is.

2 According to the internet:

Uranium hexafluoride gas, due to its density being higher than that of air, tends to sink rather than rise in the atmosphere.

But first it was dispersed in all directions by the bombs, so it will have sunk into the interstices between the rubble thereafter, thoroughly permeating it. Not something I would want to try to clean up, deep inside the mountain.
