#3 The last time I upgraded an Apache PHP version was from 3 to 5 (or something around there).

#5 Client upgraded their system (without telling us, of course) and our monitoring network didn't play well with their new configurations (lots of drama directed at us for something they did, not unusual).

Initially opting for the RAID dual/quad core package was 100 percent my fault. I should have known better, but at that moment I didn't. Last time I tried to install on a RAID rig was FreeBSD 9X, so I figure, FreddBSD 14 was an improvement, to the point where I could just jump in as I always had.

It wasn't until after my third self install I began to beg them for the single processor machine.

#11 When the changeover begins on Friday at noon, you will be redirected to the new server under its current name as the rantburg.com name propagates throughout the DNS system.

Once the name is propagated, rantburg.com will continue under the rantburg.com as well as the newrantburg.1dogstar.net name.

There likely will be short outage at the new server as the database is transferred.

I will make a reminder post Friday morning, but in the end our users/customers/regular needn't do anything. It all will be handled at the server level.
