#6 'Solar becomes number one energy provider in Europe'

Yeah, for about 6 hours per day when it's not cloudy which if I remember correctly is about 28% of the time. In the winter it's even less.

#7 The sun also shines less in the winter and is lower in the sky. We have a very good system on our house in So Cal, but winter production is still dramatically lower.

#9 In other words, if there is energy it must mean the sun is shining.

#10 Solar becomes number one energy provider in Europe

A bit misleading. The headline suggests most of Euro power is solar when the numbers say it barely squeaks by nuclear in second position, 22.1% vs 21.8%. Equally valid headlines would be "Solar tied with Nuclear" or "80% of Euro power is non-solar" but that is not enviro-sexy.

Excuse me now. I need to go charge my EV before the sun goes down. Oopsie! Too late...

Don't do it in your garage! Do it in your neighbors' yard
