#5 No idea about the cause of this, but everywhere you look it seems, you find examples that the traditional "rules" and norms about our individual freedoms are being altered or ignored with Soviet-style impunity. Perhaps it's just paranoia well nourished in the past 4 years, but most of the events can be perceived as having a political motive, and it seems to always favor one side.

#6 #3 Many things are sounding Soviet these days. Most likely this deboarding at the orders of State was because the U.S. has sided with Ukraine in the Russia Ukraine conflict.
