'According to Ford, using a 150kW+ DC fast charger, the standard 98 kWh battery packs can take about 44+ minutes. Charging from home will take about 14 hours to complete a full charge at 220V.'

The EV F-150 EPA estimated range is 230 miles.
But far less MPKW when used carrying loads over 400 LBS (☺ which includes the Bi-Ped's, for you Pronoun types out there.)

Now think of a truck used in daily deliver or construction.

Can you see the UPS/FEDX/USPS now?
1. Overnight & 2 day postal/package delivery disappears.
2. Due to delivery locations and distances customers will have to bring in, or pick up their shipments.

I'd imagine that it might be a tad more with older ones.

8 /\ EV trade in allowances not good. Disposal fees may be quite prohibitive. Most HOA's will likely not approve long-term backyard storage.

There are use cases where electric vehicles make sense. A fleet of autonomous JohnnyCab(tm)s roaming about downtown and returning to their charging stations while waiting for the next passenger would be one.

Pickup trucks, airplanes and long-haul trucking are not good good applications. It is easy to tell. Ask yourself: Do I want to haul around a half ton of batteries or a half ton of payload?
