There’s the overhand cricket style, underhand softball style, and that thing that pitchers do in baseball — when to use which? — even before learning to use to use the traditional shepherd’s sling that predate’s King David, European Conservative. Wikipedia has an actual article about Palestinian stone throwing, which does not have a good picture of Palestinian men whirling slings almost as long as they are tall — this is a weapon of war.

I guess you don't have to prove intent in these cases. Stones can kill.
