3 First I heard of anyone at/near the club other than the SWAT team shooting at Mateen.

Off-duty officer was hired for security. Hadn't heard about the other two.

6 Expecting CNN to test the narrative that better MH counseling out reach to LGBT and/or less homophobia in US plus gun control would have prevented this tragedy perped by a self loathing gay who was incidentally a muslin.
